Los Angeles Vehicle Ramming Leaves 30 Injured, 7 In Critical Condition

Thirty people were injured after a car drove into a crowd in Los Angeles early Saturday morning, leaving seven bystanders in critical condition, as more than 100 first responders are at scene.

Los Angeles Fire Department Spokesperson Adam VanGerpen told reporters “somebody had lost consciousness inside the vehicle,” saying the car, a Nissan Versa, ran into a large group of people outside a club in East Hollywood.

One patient had a gunshot wound, according to VanGerpen.

LAFD said in a 7:20 a.m. EDT update that 124 fire personnel responded to the scene in which seven were left in critical condition and six in serious condition.
