Spanish soccer giant Real Madrid could loan out its teenage Brazilian Endrick to one of a list of interested Italian clubs and also sell breakout Club World Cup star Gonzalo Garcia according to SPORT, which cited anonymous sources.

Gonzalo was granted his chance to shine at the United States-held FIFA tournament given the absence of Kylian Mbappe through a bout of gastritis.

Though he had made senior appearances before under Xabi Alonso’s predecessor Carlo Ancelotti, Garcia could become a part of the furniture under the former midfielder and successfully make the difficult step from the Castilla to the first team on a permanent basis.

According to SPORT, however, it also can’t be ruled out that Gonzalo is sold with a buyback clause as we’ve seen with so many La Fabrica talents in recent years.

Being moved on in such circumstances, but then returning to the Bernabeu an improved player with big league experience, is known as the ‘Carvajal Route’ in honor of the legendary right back Dani that completed it a decade ago via Bayer Leverkusen.

Nico Paz could complete it too after being sold to Como last summer and kicking on in Italy, though reports on this happening soon have since cooled down.

As for Gonzalo, Chelsea is reportedly interested in signing him for $47 million (€40 million) as are other clubs, but Madrid would point to his $59 million (€50 million) release clause as the only way to get the 21-year-old out of his contract.

At the moment, thanks to regular starts plus important goals against Al-Hilal and Juventus, it is Gonzalo who is keeping Endrick further out of the picture as the presumed number two to Mbappe.

The Brazilian completed his dream move to the Spanish capital from Palmeiras in mid-2024, but struggled for regular minutes under Ancelotti while earning even less on Alonso’s watch thus far.

There has been talk about Endrick possibly leaving on loan before, and that has re-emerged given Gonzalo’s new prominence, with AS’ famous Madridista Tomas Roncero finding it to be ‘obligatory’.

While last time it was reportedly a string of Spanish and even Premier League clubs interested in the Brazil international, some of Italy’s finest are now lining up for Endrick.

At the forefront is Juventus, which would be willing to negotiate a loan or even an overall purchase of Endrick while other interested parties include Serie A champions Napoli, AC Milan and Como.

Endrick is on the outside looking in at Real Madrid

With Gonzalo in his way, Endrick is now on the outside looking in at Real Madrid. A loan move might be the best option, but SPORT says that the striker and his camp are only thinking about succeeding at Real Madrid with Alonso and not looking elsewhere.
