Taylor Swift’s latest album The Life of a Showgirl was a hit-making machine the moment it arrived. The week that the set debuted atop the Billboard 200, Swift filled the entirety of the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 – a feat she has managed twice now, while no other music star has yet to match her. 10 of the tracks from her full-length became instant smashes in America, and in the months since the album’s drop, several have become radio favorites as well.
Swift proves her incredible popularity among not only listeners, but also radio programmers and DJs, by becoming the first artist to manage an incredible feat on one of Billboard‘s three pop radio tallies, the Adult Pop Airplay chart.
“Elizabeth Taylor” Reaches the Adult Pop Airplay Top 10
Swift’s current single “Elizabeth Taylor,” the third single pushed from The Life of a Showgirl, hits the top 10 on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, climbing from No. 11 to No. 10. The cut follows previous choices “The Fate of Ophelia” and “Opalite,” and though the singer-songwriter has moved on in terms of her promotional might, radio listeners are still loving everything from The Life of a Showgirl.
“Opalite” holds at No. 8 on the Adult Pop Airplay tally, and “The Fate of Ophelia” is steady at No. 9. Swift manages not only back-to-back-to-back hits, but she also becomes the first artist to score three top 10s at the same time, according to Billboard.
Taylor Swift Extends Her Adult Pop Airplay Top 10 Record
As “Elizabeth Taylor” climbs into the loftiest tier on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, Swift furthers her lead over all other artists when it comes to the most top 10 hits. She is now up to a milestone 35 appearances between Nos. 1 and 10. Swift further distances herself from the chart’s runner-up, Maroon 5. The pop band has landed 28 top 10s. Singer Pink is the only other act with 20 or more top 10 smashes on the list, and she’s steady with her even 20.
Taylor Swift Remains Tied with Maroon 5
Swift is currently tied with Maroon 5 when it comes to the greatest number of champions on the Adult Pop Airplay chart. Both acts have scored 15, while Pink trails behind with an even 10.

Taylor Swift’s “Elizabeth Taylor” Enjoys Its Best Week Yet
This week is the best one yet for “Elizabeth Taylor” on the radio, even as the track declines several spaces from No. 45 to No. 51 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Elizabeth Taylor” can be found on all three pop radio tallies, and it holds at its all-time high on both the Adult Contemporary (No. 13) and Pop Airplay (No. 17) charts.
The Life of a Showgirl Singles Chart Together
Amazingly, all three hits taken from The Life of a Showgirl appear at their best placements yet on the Adult Contemporary chart, the slowest-moving of the trio of pop tallies. “The Fate of Ophelia,” which has somehow never managed to rule, is a non-mover in second place. “Elizabeth Taylor” is, as mentioned, comfortable sitting just beneath the top 10. “Opalite” climbs one peg to No. 8, which now stands as its loftiest position yet.
Taylor Swift Scores Three Radio Songs Chart Hits
The three The Life of a Showgirl cuts can also be found on the Radio Songs chart, which is the most competitive airplay ranking in the United States, as it does not focus on just one style. Both “The Fate of Ophelia” and “Opalite” land right next to one another, keeping at Nos. 7 and 8, respectively. “Elizabeth Taylor” ascends one spot to No. 25 as it makes it to a month on the roster.
