Two months after BTS left ARMY with no choice but to frantically seek out vinyl turntables, the group has confirmed that “Come Over” is coming to streaming platforms. Big Hit Music announced on Monday that the track — previously exclusive to the deluxe vinyl edition of Arirang — will receive an official digital release on June 12 as part of the group’s annual Festa celebrations, per the Korea Herald.
What BTS Festa Is
Festa is BTS’s annual fan festival commemorating the group’s debut, held each year around June 13, the date the group officially debuted in 2013. The tradition dates back to 2014 and typically includes a mix of content drops, photo releases, performances, and events that span the days surrounding the anniversary.
This year, the celebrations will coincide with two concerts at Busan Asiad Main Stadium on June 12 and 13, making it the first time BTS has performed in Busan since the “BTS: Yet to Come in Busan” concert in October 2022, their final group performance before members began enlisting for mandatory military service. Both shows are predictably sold out.
What BTS’ “Come Over” Is
“Come Over” first surfaced on April 3 when fans who had purchased the deluxe vinyl edition of Arirang began posting snippets online. Produced by SUGA, with additional credits for RM and j-hope, the track is described in Big Hit Music’s official release notes as a mix of stadium anthem and pop, built around synthesizers, resonant vocals, heavy beats, and a flowing guitar melody, with stomping and clapping sounds intended to evoke the atmosphere of a live performance.
The decision to keep it off streaming was made deliberately by the group themselves. During a Weverse livestream on April 1, when Jimin asked whether it would be shared on platforms, the consensus was that it would remain vinyl-exclusive, a rare physical-only release designed to reward collectors. SUGA noted at the time that he hoped fans would like what the group had made, adding cryptically that he could not say everything yet. The subsequent widespread disappointment and sustained campaigns across social media demanding a digital release appears to have informed the decision to bring it to streaming for Festa,
The Full BTS Festa 2026 Schedule
The June 12 digital release of “Come Over” arrives within a packed content calendar. The festivities begin this Thursday with BTS’s annual Festa family photo, a tradition the group has maintained since 2014. A performance video for “Hooligan,” a track from Arirang, follows on Friday. Additional content including the “Normal Log” and “13 Side Film” drops on Sunday and Monday respectively. The group’s self-produced variety series returns on June 10 and 11 as “Run BTS 2.0,” reviving one of BTS’ most popular content franchises; the recent three-part special “Run BTS: BTS’s Trip,” released in April and May, is approaching 30 million cumulative YouTube views. On June 12, alongside “Come Over,” Big Hit will also release the Arirang 613 Limited Edition Picture Disc Vinyl.
Where BTS Is Now
The Festa announcements follow the conclusion of the North American leg of the ‘Arirang’ World Tour. BTS wrapped the leg on May 28 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, having played 15 sold-out concerts across five cities including Tampa and Mexico City, drawing approximately 840,000 attendees. The tour continues with European dates beginning in late June. “Come Over” releases digitally on June 12.
