Billboard‘s Radio Songs chart is one of the toughest to climb for most musicians who don’t already have a lengthy track record of producing airplay wins. Rising talents, even those with huge fan bases, face a conundrum. Many DJs and programmers choose to focus on established acts and those that already claim multiple major radio wins – which of course is difficult to achieve until those same people put an initial hit into heavy rotation.
The Radio Songs tally ranks tracks based on total number of audience impressions. Sometimes, a single climbs due to its undeniable popularity in one genre. In other instances, a cut’s widespread appeal, and the fact that it can be spun on stations that focus on many different styles, aid in its ascent.
Tame Impala and Jennie’s “Dracula” is fast becoming a radio win, and it is taking both of those paths to glory. This week, the blockbuster reaches an important new peak, and the Blackpink singer joins a very exclusive club.
Jennie and Tame Impala Reach the Top 10
“Dracula,” which for weeks now has been credited to both Tame Impala and Jennie, though it was originally a solo single by the alternative act, steps up from No. 11 to No. 9 on the current edition of the Radio Songs chart. The tune breaks into the top 10 for the first time, earning Jennie and Tame Impala their initial placements within the loftiest space.
“Dracula” Passes “Dynamite”
“Dracula” is now one of only four tunes that officially credit a K-pop artist – any musician typically associated with the genre – to find its way into the Radio Songs chart’s top 10. As it leaps from eleventh place to ninth, “Dracula” pushes past “Dynamite” by BTS. That tune became the first K-pop top 10 in the history of the Radio Songs tally more than half a decade ago when it stalled at No. 10.
The last two years have been huge for K-pop on the Radio Songs roster, as the two highest-rising smashes both reached their peaks relatively recently. In 2025, K-pop finally ruled the ranking as “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters reached the summit. The track is credited to the group Huntr/x, as well as singers Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami. Shortly before that success, another Blackpink singer, Rosé, joined with Bruno Mars, and the two sent “Apt.” all the way to No. 4.

Notably, of the four K-pop songs that have broken into the Radio Songs chart’s top 10, three credit solo female musicians. Half of the singers in Blackpink – Rosé and now Jennie – as well as Ejae, all fit this description.
“Dracula” Rises Across Several Radio Charts
Just as was the case last week, “Dracula” takes up space on 20 different Billboard charts. The song climbs to a new high point on four of them, and they are all connected to the airwaves. In addition to the Radio Songs tally, “Dracula” breaks into the top 10 on the Pop Airplay list, mirroring the same movement. The collaboration also establishes new highs on both the Adult Pop Airplay (No. 11) and Dance/Mix Show Airplay rundowns (No. 35).
