Olivia Rodrigo’s third studio LP, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, has finally arrived. One of the most highly anticipated albums of 2026 has already produced two big hits around the world, and in a few days, it will likely churn out several more.

You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love will almost certainly conquer a number of Billboard charts, including the Billboard 200, once its first seven-day tracking frame of availability finishes. Only a few hours after the title arrived, it has already become a strong seller in America, and the future looks bright for Rodrigo’s latest full-length.

Olivia Rodrigo Leads iTunes With Her New Album

You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love stands out as the most exciting drop of this new music Friday. Rodrigo’s latest set currently sits at No. 1 on the iTunes Top Albums chart, which ranks the bestselling collections of any genre on what is typically considered the most important sales platform when it comes to digital downloads. A second version of the same album also settles at No. 24.

Olivia Rodrigo Beats Keith Urban to No. 1

Rodrigo claims one of half a dozen debuts within the top 10 on the iTunes Top Albums chart. You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love beats both Flow State by Keith Urban and Sublime’s Until the Sun Explodes, which currently appear at Nos. 2 and 3, respectively, as of the time of writing.

A little further down on the tally, Bring Me the Horizon’s Count Your Blessings, as well as the twenty-fifth anniversary edition of Blink-182’s Take Off Your Pants and Jacket, sit side-by-side at Nos. 5 and 6, respectively. Country and rock artist Koe Wetzel closes out the top 10 on the iTunes Top Albums tally with The Night Champion, which is new in tenth place.

Olivia Rodrigo Brings Two Albums Back

Rodrigo’s fans have also returned to the two albums that preceded You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, turning both of them into bestsellers again – at least momentarily. Guts, her sophomore set, appears at No. 74 on the iTunes Top Albums ranking, while its predecessor Sour breaks back onto the 200-space rundown at No. 80.

“The Cure” and “Drop Dead” Keep Selling Well

Over on the iTunes Top Songs chart, the first two singles from You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love rank as Rodrigo’s bestselling at the moment. “The Cure,” the second promotional cut, steps up to No. 19, while “Drop Dead,” the first taste of the then-upcoming full-length, improves to No. 21.

The Grammy winner has chosen “Stupid Song” as the third official single from her latest album, so it makes sense that the track becomes her third bestselling on iTunes. “Stupid Song” arrives at No. 65, and it may climb as Friday progresses.

Another cut from the same project, “Begged,” barely manages to find space on the register as it sneaks in at No. 199. Rodrigo may see additional tunes from You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love make it to the iTunes chart, but nearly halfway through the album’s first day of availability, it seems clear that Americans are keenly interested in purchasing the collection in its entirety instead of owning a handful of songs.

Olivia Rodrigo May Beat Drake to No. 1

It looks like Drake is headed for a fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in a few days when the company refreshes its rankings. His latest champion, Iceman – which was released at the same time as another two complete projects, Habibti and Maid of Honour – has yet to step aside from the uppermost spot. Rodrigo’s You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love will give the Canadian hip-hop talent a run for his money, and will very likely unseat him in a little more than a week.
