Former First Lady Michelle Obama drew cheers from the crowd after making an apparent jab at President Donald Trump at the opening of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago, alluding to former President Barack Obama winning a Nobel Peace Prize—an honor that has eluded Trump, much to his frustration.

While naming a list of her husband’s achievements as president, Michelle Obama included “winning a peace prize,” referring to his 2009 Nobel Peace Prize award.
The remark drew prolonged cheers from the crowd, as well as visible laughs from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who was seated behind former President Obama and alongside her husband, former President Bill Clinton.
The remark appears to be a dig at Trump, who complained about not winning the prize last fall, and was gifted the medal by the actual winner, Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado, even though the award is not officially transferable.
