In a matter of weeks, Ariana Grande will release Petal, her eighth album. The superstar recently dropped “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” the first single from the project, and the tune became an immediate No. 1 on several charts in the United States, including the Billboard Hot 100.

A week after that track launched in lofty positions, multiple projects by Grande return to the most important albums ranking in the country. Several other full-lengths also land on the tally at the same time, in a display that suggests big things are in store for Petal when it arrives.

Ariana Grande Brings Three Albums Back to the Billboard 200

On this week’s Billboard 200, the ranking of the most-consumed albums and EPs in the U.S., five of Grande’s seven full-lengths appear. Three of those efforts – Thank U, Next, My Everything and Positions – reenter the 200-space rundown, which is built using both sales and streaming data. The highest-ranking return is Thank U, Next, which breaks back in at No. 118. My Everything can be found at No. 166 after not finding space on the Billboard 200 only a few days ago, and Positions settles into third-to-last place, No. 198.

Eternal Sunshine Surges More Than 50 Spaces

Eternal Sunshine, Grande’s most recent album, surges up the Billboard 200 this week, thanks in part to the continued success of her latest single, “Hate That I Made You Love Me.” Last week, Eternal Sunshine, which dropped in 2024, sat at No. 79, and this time around, it rockets all the way to No. 27.

At the same time, Dangerous Woman, one of Grande’s earliest releases, tumbles down the roster. Dangerous Woman sat at No. 21 last frame after the singer dropped a tenth anniversary edition, which included one previously unreleased tune. This time around, Dangerous Woman descends from No. 21 to No. 105.

Ariana Grande’s Four Former Leaders Are All Charting

Four of the five albums Grande places on the current Billboard 200 have reached No. 1. Eternal Sunshine, Thank U, Next, My Everything and Positions are counted among her half-dozen rulers. Sweetener and Yours Truly also led the charge for one week each, half a decade apart, though they’re not present on the ranking at the moment. Only Dangerous Woman missed out on topping the tally as it stalled in second place, where it launched in the summer of 2016.

Thank U, Next Leads Her Current Wins in Terms of Longevity

Of the five albums by Grande that take up space on this week’s Billboard 200, all but one have racked up triple-digit stays on the tally. The longest-running of the bunch is Thank U, Next, which has now appeared on the list 186 times. My Everything nears that milestone, but still needs about two months before it hits 100 periods, as it has now landed on the list in 92 separate frames.

Eternal Sunshine Returns to Billboard’s Streaming Chart

Dangerous Woman, Thank U, Next, My Everything and Positions only manage to make a home on the Billboard 200, while Eternal Sunshine also returns to one other roster. As it climbs on the main albums rundown, the Grammy-nominated project reenters the Top Streaming Albums chart, which looks only at a set’s performance on platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal and others. This time around, it’s back at No. 26.

Ariana Grande Revives Two Singles Globally

As four albums by Grande reappear on one Billboard chart apiece, two of her most popular singles break back onto the worldwide rankings. “Into You” surges onto the Billboard Global 200, establishing a new peak position of No. 143. At the same time, it becomes Grande’s milestone fiftieth win on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S.

“We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love),” the second single from Eternal Sunshine, also dances back onto both of those planet-spanning rosters. The song hits No. 98 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 106 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S.
