Move over, Spider-Man.

You’re not the only superhero partnering with one of the biggest electronic companies in the world.

With DC Studios’ anticipated superhero film Supergirl hitting theaters this Friday, June 26, in the U.S., Samsung is releasing special content and merchandise to celebrate the hero. From now until March 8, 2027, there will be a new Supergirl limited collection at the Samsung Art Store, available across Samsung Art TVs. It features 15 digital artworks from DC Comics, bringing to life the iconic characters’ comic legacy across Samsung’s expanded 2026 Art TV lineup.

“Samsung’s display business has long been shaped by the way people engage with film, sports, games and art,” said Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics, said in a press release. “Through this partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios, we are bringing together the exciting, intergalactic visual world of ‘Supergirl’ with Samsung’s bold display experiences at home.”

“The compelling visual world that Craig Gillespie and his teams bring to life in ‘Supergirl’ is unlike anything we’ve seen in the DC Universe, and Samsung, through their innovative Art Store, brings consumers together with their singular technology to deliver that experience on their screens,” said Julie Moore, Head of Global Brand Partnerships at Warner Bros. Pictures. “Having partnered with them on ‘Superman,’ we were eager to work with them again to see how brilliant their ‘Supergirl’ experience would be, and they delivered.”

Samsung and Supergirl have also launched a sweepstakes. Now through July 19, fans can uncover the hidden message on Samsung Micro RGB TVs at more than 600 participating Best Buy stores nationwide. The Special Supergirl content will play on the Samsung RGB TV displays in each store, revealing the riddle behind the precise color expression. Answering the riddle will unlock additional entries to the Samsung X Supergirl Sweepstakes in both the U.S. and the U.K.

Eligible fans will have a chance to win a variety of prizes, including

  • One (1) Grand Prize: A premium entertainment upgrade featuring a 65” Samsung Micro RGB (R95H) TV and a Samsung Q-Series Soundbar (HW-Q930H). The winner will also receive a four-day/three-night trip for two to Burbank, CA, which includes the Warner Bros. Studios Tour and a highly exclusive, VIP tour of the Warner Bros. Archives—a facility closed to the general public.
  • Two (2) First Prizes: A 65” Samsung Micro RGB (R95H) TV and a Samsung Q-Series Soundbar (HW-Q930H).
  • One Hundred (100) Second Prizes: A digital code redeemable to watch Supergirl on the Movies Anywhere platform once the film is available on digital.

Product placement and sponsorships are not new to the film and television industry, with numerous products advertised across these media. Samsung has been working closely with WB/DC Comics and Sony Pictures/Marvel to promote its Samsung Galaxy products, which will appear in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day. And now, the company collaborates with Supergirl to promote the film (Though Samsung products do not appear in the film).
