Olivia Rodrigo is back on top of the Billboard charts in America. In fact, thanks to the immediate success of her third full-length, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, the singer-songwriter dominates albums lists in countries all around the globe.

You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love easily becomes Rodrigo’s third consecutive leader on the Billboard 200, which ranks the most-consumed albums in the United States using both sales and streaming data. Half a decade into her tenure as a superstar, Rodrigo only seems to be growing in terms of popularity. You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love marks not only her most impressive debut, but also one of the grandest so far in 2026.

Olivia Rodrigo Debuts With Nearly Half a Million Units

According to Luminate, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love debuts atop the Billboard 200 with 485,000 equivalent units shifted. That figure is made up of 279,000 purchases via digital download, CD and vinyl, as well as 211,000 units that come from streaming activity.

Olivia Rodrigo Scores 2026’s Second-Largest Debut

You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love claims the second-largest debut of the year on the Billboard 200. Before Rodrigo’s latest arrived, Drake’s Iceman – one of three full-lengths he shared simultaneously, in addition to both Habibti and Maid of Honour – entered the all-genre albums tally at No. 1 on the chart dated May 30 with 463,000 equivalent units moved.

Drake pushed Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. by Harry Styles down from the second-largest start of 2026 to the third. Now the English singer-songwriter sits in fourth place on this ranking.

Only Arirang by BTS beats Rodrigo, Drake and Styles, and by a significant margin. The South Korean boy band’s comeback set – its first in several years – launched atop the Billboard 200 in early April with 641,000 equivalent units. That’s 150,000 more (and then some) than You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love.

Olivia Rodrigo Lands The Biggest Week of Her Career

Rodrigo’s third album scores the Grammy winner her biggest week yet on the Billboard 200. Her sophomore full-length, Guts, debuted at No. 1 with 302,000 equivalent copies shifted in its first seven days of availability. That final number turned out to be less than 10,000 larger than Sour, her introductory project, which kicked off its time in first place on the competitive tally with 295,000 equivalent units.

Drake Falls to Second Place on the Billboard 200

Only one other album manages to move at least six digits in America this week. Drake’s Iceman – which spent four frames ruling and only steps aside to make room for You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love – racked up another 105,000 equivalent units. That’s an impressive figure for a month-old set, but it is also less than one-quarter of the sum that Rodrigo’s new studio LP managed in the same seven days.

Olivia Rodrigo Dominates Six Lists

Rodrigo launches You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love at No. 1 on all half-dozen Billboard rankings on which it appears this week. That roundup includes not only the Billboard 200, but also the Top Album Sales, Top Streaming Albums, Vinyl Albums, Top Rock & Alternative Albums and Top Alternative Albums charts. Rodrigo scores her third leader on three of those lists, her second on the two that focus on one specific genre (or several), and her first champion on Billboard‘s rundown of the most-streamed collections in the nation.
