SpaceXAI launched the latest version of its flagship AI model with Grok 4.5, saying the latest iteration excels at coding, finance and completing tasks without human intervention.

Grok 4.5, the company’s “strongest model ever,” according to a statement, was made available to the public Wednesday for a limited time.
Musk said Tuesday that Grok 4.5 is “an Opus-class model,” referring to Anthropic’s frontier AI model, but is “faster, more token-efficient and lower cost.”
Grok 4.5’s “capability, faster speed and lower cost is what makes it competitive,” Musk said in a follow-up post Wednesday.
The new SpaceXAI model is particularly skilled at handling agentic tasks, tasks that models can handle autonomously, and finance, legal and coding tasks.
Grok 4.5 can specifically build complex Excel models involving research from the web and build complex diagrams and intuitive slide content in PowerPoint, according to Wednesday’s statement.
