The FIFA World Cup is really bringing its first Halftime Show to another level by initially announcing global superstars BTS, Madonna, and Shakira for the show. Now, they’ve leveled it up even further by announcing Justin Bieber for the mix.

On July 19, at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, four of the biggest performers in the world came together for the very first FIFA Final Halftime Show, curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin. This has already reached Super Bowl levels with this lineup.

Bieber recently brought down the house at this year’s Coachella, playing both weekends as the headliner. Since then, fans have been wanting to see more of the Swag artist.

“The FIFA World Cup brings the world together in a way nothing else can,” Bieber said in a press statement. “I’m grateful to be part of this Halftime Show, and even more grateful knowing it’s already helping expand access to education for children around the world.”

FIFA President Gianni Infantino expressed how important it is to come together for education.

It’s hard to believe the show is only 11 minutes long. It will also include Nigerian singer-songwriter Burna Boy (who sang the Official 2026 World Cup song, “Dai Dai,” with Shakira), Venezuelan conductor Gustavo Dudamel, the Webby Award-winning PS22 Chorus – made up of elementary school kids from Staten Island, New York – and characters from Sesame Street and The Muppets. Oh, Coldplay too.

Burna Boy and Shakira performed their World Cup song during this year’s Opening Ceremony at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City on June 11, as the headline performers.

“The FIFA World Cup is one of the few moments that truly bring the entire world together,” said Burna Boy. “To represent Africa on the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show is a privilege and a responsibility that I don’t take lightly. I’m honored to be part of a performance that not only celebrates football and culture but also helps create greater opportunities for children through education around the world.”

They’ve already raised over $50 million from World Cup match ticket sales, with the organization donating $1 per ticket sold.

There are only eight teams left in the World Cup: Argentina, Belgium, England, France, Morocco, Norway, Spain, and Switzerland. With more games set in the next three weeks, the world waits to see who will be in the final.

The FIFA World Cup Final will be on Sunday, July 19, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
