Most musicians like to promote one song at a time to radio, but the biggest names in the music industry can, on occasion, push multiple tracks. Typically, it is a smart idea to give DJs and programmers a single tune to focus on, as it is often best not to split the interest of tastemakers and those who choose what reaches the airwaves. That said, when an artist becomes so popular, and they have too much going on at once, that rule can be broken – sometimes successfully.
Sabrina Carpenter is doing just that, and the plan appears to be working. Her current solo single “House Tour,” taken from her nearly year-old set Man’s Best Friend, arrives on one roster this week. “Bring Your Love,” her collaboration with Madonna – which recently received a boost after the pop icon dropped her highly-anticipated album Confessions II, on which the cut is featured – also debuts on another ranking at the same time.
“Bring Your Love” Debuts on the Adult Contemporary Chart
The higher-ranking of Carpenter’s two debuts is “Bring Your Love.” The Madonna duet starts at No. 27 on the Adult Contemporary chart. It is the only track to launch on the list – one of three rankings that focus on pop radio in America – this time around.
Sabrina Carpenter Earns Her Twelfth Adult Contemporary Hit
“Bring Your Love” earns Carpenter her twelfth hit on the Adult Contemporary chart. The collaboration ties “Bed Chem,” which launched last spring, as her lowest-peaking tune on the roster, though it may climb and best that single in the coming weeks.
“Bring Your Love” Reaches a New Pop Airplay Peak
At the same time that “Bring Your Love” launches on the Adult Contemporary chart, the song climbs to a new high of No. 22 on the Pop Airplay list. It rises to that position nine weeks into its time on the ranking. “Bring Your Love” does not fare as well on the Adult Pop Airplay tally, where it falls three spaces to No. 25.
“House Tour” Debuts on the Adult Pop Airplay Chart
“House Tour,” the fourth official single from Man’s Best Friend, debuts on the Adult Pop Airplay chart. This frame, it enters the roster at No. 37, 12 spaces beneath where “Bring Your Love” appears at the moment.
Sabrina Carpenter Collects Another Adult Pop Airplay Win
Carpenter has now collected a lucky 13 appearances on the Adult Pop Airplay chart as “House Tour” arrives. Only “Nonsense,” which reached the list in the spring of 2023 – shortly before Carpenter broke out as one of the biggest pop stars in the world – has stalled in a lower space. That track spent one week at No. 39 and then disappeared.
“House Tour” Climbs on Multiple Radio Charts
Just like “Bring Your Love,” “House Tour” appears on multiple radio charts in America, and it climbs to a new peak position on several of them simultaneously. “House Tour” inches nearer to the top 10 on the Pop Airplay ranking, pushing from No. 17 to No. 14.
On the Radio Songs rundown, which is not specific to any one genre, “House Tour” breaks into the top 40, climbing from No. 42 to No. 39. Over on the Billboard Hot 100, the ranking of the most-consumed songs in the nation – with sales, streams and radio airplay all factoring into where a title lands – “House Tour” descends from No. 68 to No. 82, even as it gains ground on the airwaves and is clearly a favorite among radio programmers.
Sabrina Carpenter Charts Two Global Smashes
Interestingly, neither “House Tour” nor “Bring Your Love” appear on either of Billboard’s worldwide rosters, though Carpenter does claim two hits. “Manchild” rises on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. At the same time, “Espresso,” which can be regarded as Carpenter’s breakout smash, dips on the Billboard Global 200 but rises on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., as it is clearly more successful in countries outside America than it is on Carpenter’s home turf.
