That’s in addition to another $215.3 million in international markets, bringing the ancient Greek epic’s global total to an estimated $639.6 million.
“The Odyssey” is now Nolan’s top film for second weekend ticket sales, surpassing “The Dark Knight” in 2008 with $75.1 million.

The live action “Moana” reboot came in second with an estimated $10.5 million gross, while “Toy Story 5” extended its blockbuster run in theaters for a sixth weekend with another $10 million. The Disney/Pixar animated film has now finally crossed the $1 billion threshold, making it the highest grossing film of the year so far, with a $1.02 billion global total.
