Tom Cruise’s action blockbuster Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is coming soon to digital streaming.

Directed by Cruise’s longtime collaborator Christopher McQuarrie, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning opened in theaters on May 23. The film is a continuation of the events of 2023’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning, where the now-rogue Impossible Mission Force Agent Ethan Hunt (Cruise ) is tasked by U.S. President Erika Sloane (Angela Bassett) to stop a self-aware artificial intelligence program called The Entity before it takes control of all the world’s nuclear arsenals and begins World War III.

Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning also stars Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Greg Tarzan Davis, Pom Klementieff, Hannah Waddingham, Janet McTeer, Nick Offerman, Shea Whigham, Trammell Tillman, Henry Czerny, Holt McCallany and Esai Morales.

Paramount Pictures Home Entertainment announced on Tuesday that Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning will be released on digital streaming via premium video on demand on Tuesday, Aug. 19.

Prime Video currently has the film listed for pre-order for $19.99, which will also be the film’s purchase price. Since rentals on PVOD are typically $5 less than purchase prices, viewers can expect to rent Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning for $14.99.
