J-Hope’s 2025 has been huge when it comes to scoring solo smashes. The BTS rapper has delivered multiple hits throughout the year, and all of them have become strong sellers in the United States, with three climbing especially high.

This week, J-Hope returns to the summit on the Digital Song Sales chart, and as he does, he breaks out of a tie with one of his bandmates and matches several others for a historic showing.

“Killin’ It Girl” Debuts at No. 1

J-Hope’s new single with rapper GloRilla, “Killin’ It Girl,” debuts at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart. The tune arrives with 18,350 pure purchases (according to Luminate), making it the only track to sell more than 10,000 copies in America this past frame, easily enough for it to lead the tally.

J-Hope’s Third Solo No. 1

“Killin’ It Girl” marks J-Hope’s third No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart, and all three of those champions have arrived in 2025. Both “Sweet Dreams,” a collaboration with Miguel, and “Mona Lisa” also reached the top spot in just the past few months.

So far, J-Hope has collected 12 top 10 smashes in his solo career, including a trio of tunes that stalled in the runner-up position.

J-Hope Ties Suga and Jin

Before “Killin’ It Girl” arrived, J-Hope was matched with fellow BTS star RM, as both had dominated the Digital Song Sales ranking with a pair of cuts. Now, he has passed the South Korean boy band’s leader and tied both Suga and Jin with three wins apiece. That trio of superstars now jointly claim the third-most No. 1s of all time among South Korean solo musicians on Billboard’s song sales tally.

Looking only at soloists from South Korea, Jimin continues to rule, with six leaders on the Digital Song Sales chart. Jung Kook isn’t far behind, with five champions. When groups are included, BTS easily dominates, as the band has conquered the list of the most purchased tracks in America on platforms like iTunes a dozen times.
