From the moment it was officially announced in early April, Olivia Rodrigo’s You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love instantly became one of the most highly-anticipated albums of 2026. Since delivering her first full-length Sour more than half a decade ago, Rodrigo has remained one of the music industry’s biggest stars. All three of her projects have become strong sellers and produced No. 1s on the Billboard Hot 100 – in some instances multiple leaders.

Unsurprisingly, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love performed incredibly well the moment it dropped, and it managed impressive debuts across half a dozen Billboard charts last week. For most musicians, even major players in the business, scoring a sizable launch is the goal, and there’s no telling what will come afterward. With Rodrigo, however, the popularity of her new set continues, and nothing was able to topple it this time around.

Olivia Rodrigo Holds at No. 1 for a Second Week

You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love is unmoved in its second week on each and every Billboard chart on which it appears. Rodrigo leads the charge on six tallies with her latest LP, which remains both a strong seller and streamer, even after millions of fans across America consumed it only days ago. At the moment, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love sits at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, as well as the Top Album Sales, Top Streaming Albums, Vinyl Albums, Top Rock & Alternative Albums and Top Alternative Albums charts.

Olivia Rodrigo Doubles Her Leaders on Several Charts

You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love marks Rodrigo’s second full-length to spend multiple weeks at No. 1 on several of those charts. The new project doubles her longstanding No. 1s on the Billboard 200 as well as both the Top Rock & Alternative Albums and Top Alternative Albums tallies.

All three of her collections have ruled both the Vinyl Albums and Top Album Sales charts for at least two frames. You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love could easily score a third run in just a few days, extending its run.

Rodrigo does manage a multi-week champion on just one roster for the first time. Last frame, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love brought her to the throne on the Top Streaming Albums chart for the first time in her career, and now it leads the charge once more. Previously, the singer-songwriter climbed as high as No. 3, a placement she reached in the spring of 2024 with Guts.

Sour and Guts Fall on Almost Every Billboard Chart

As You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love refuses to budge, Rodrigo’s previous two full-lengths largely drop down on the Billboard charts after surging due to all the excitement last period. Sour falls on the Billboard 200, Top Album Sales and Top Streaming Albums charts, but keeps at No. 21 on the Vinyl Albums ranking. Guts backtracks on the same trio of rosters as Sour, and also on the Top Rock & Alternative Albums list, though it manages to hold on inside the top 10. Guts also reverses course and steps up one space to No. 5 on the Top Alternative Albums chart, which means Rodrigo claims two positions within the top five.
