Percy Jackson is embarking on his next quest to save Camp Half-Blood and his friends. The first two episodes of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 arrived on Disney+ and Hulu on Wednesday, Dec. 10, but when do new episodes drop on the streamer?
Percy Jackson is based on Rick Riordan’s New York Times best-selling fantasy novels and set in a world where Greek gods exist in the 21st century. The second season adapts the second book in the series, The Sea of Monsters, and opens with Percy returning to Camp Half-Blood with Annabeth and his cyclops half-brother, Tyson, only to find the camp under attack by monsters trying to break through the magical barrier.
The attacks trace back to Luke Castellan, the demigod son of Hermes, who betrayed Percy in Season 1 by stealing Zeus’s lightning bolt on behalf of Titan Lord Kronos. To protect the camp and rescue his best friend, Grover, from Polyphemus, Percy must venture to the Sea of Monsters to recover the legendary Golden Fleece, which has the power to heal anything or anyone, including Thalia’s poisoned tree.
Leah Sava Jeffries, who plays Annabeth Chase, told me during a virtual press junket in early December that heading into Season 2, her character is still reeling from everything happening at Camp Half-Blood, especially Luke’s betrayal.
“Not only did Luke betray her, but he also tried to hurt Thalia,” she said, adding that Grover’s absence will also weigh heavily on Annabeth. “I think the biggest challenge right now is that she’s so hurt that sometimes it clouds her thoughts of how to get there and what to do.”

New episodes of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 are released every Wednesday at 3 a.m. ET / 12 a.m. PT, on Disney+ and Hulu.
The next episode, Episode 3, titled “We Board the Princess Andromeda,” will be available on Wednesday, Dec. 17.

There will be a total of eight episodes in the second installment of Disney+’s Percy Jackson series. The first season, which debuted in December 2023, also had eight episodes.
