“South Park” Season 28, Episode 5.
Comedy Central/Paramount+
Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s South Park Season 28 finale is this week. What time does it begin on cable and streaming?
South Park’s 2025 episodes began on July 23 with what turned out to be the first of five Season 27 episodes, followed by the first of five Season 28 episodes on Oct. 15. President Donald Trump has been the prime target of Parker and Stone’s comedic ridicule in both seasons 27 and 28, as well as members of his administration, his global tariff policies and his MAGA followers.
The core storyline of Seasons 27 and 28, though, has been Trump’s relationship with Satan and the pending birth of their baby, aka the Antichrist. In recent episodes, billionaire tech mogul Peter Thiel and Vice President JD Vance have been conspiring to prevent the birth of the Antichrist with Cartman.
Cartman, of course, suddenly became demonically possessed in Season 28 Episode 1, titled Twisted Christian, and is the duo’s only hope of making that happen.
South Park Season 28, Episode 5— which is the season finale of the adult animated comedy— is scheduled to air on Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central, and begin streaming on Paramount+ on Thursday at 6 a.m. ET/3 a.m. PT.
The ‘South Park’ Season 28 Finale Is Another Holiday Episode
South Park has been in the holiday spirit again this year with special episodes to celebrate Halloween and Thanksgiving, and Wednesday’s Season 28 finale has a Christmas theme.
While the title of the episode is yet to be revealed, a short teaser video posted on South Park’s X account on Tuesday begins with Stan saying, “That’s what everyone needs right now. A big Christmas miracle,” and continues with President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance ringing bells on a street corner by a Salvation Army red kettle, dressed as Santa Claus and an elf, respectively.
Also, in another post on South Park’s X account on Wednesday, there is a photo of Trump and Vance from the clip, along with another photo of Satan in a laundry room, holding up what appears to be soiled underwear.
Whose underwear Satan is holding is yet to be determined in the episode. Could it belong to the president? If not, could it be the baby Antichrist that Peter Thiel and Vance couldn’t prevent from being born?
All will be told, apparently, when South Park’s Season 28 finale airs on Comedy Central Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT and streams Thursday on Paramount+ at 6 a.m. ET/3 a.m. PT.
