The FBI executed a search warrant Wednesday at a Fulton County, Georgia, election center near Atlanta, years after President Donald Trump began targeting the state claiming, without evidence, the 2020 election was stolen after Joe Biden narrowly won Georgia that year.

The search is in connection to the 2020 election, CBS News reported, adding that the center being searched opened in 2023 as a storage space for election materials.
Fulton County, along with four states, was sued by the Department of Justice in December “for records related to the 2020 election,” with Assistant Attorney General Harmeet K. Dhillon of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division saying it is their duty “to preserve and protect their constituents from vote dilution.”
