Ella Langley’s breakout hit “Choosin’ Texas” has proved so massively successful that it has overshadowed several other songs that the country superstar has released recently. In the wake of “Choosin’ Texas,” which this week returns to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, multiple tracks featured on Langley’s sophomore album Dandelion have become shockingly popular, especially when it comes to country music.
“Be Her,” which followed “Choosin’ Texas” as the second Dandelion single, deserves to be recognized as one of 2026’s most commercially successful cuts and a country giant in its own right. While Langley continues to push “Be Her” – as well as her recently shared collaboration with Morgan Wallen, “I Can’t Love You Anymore” – the track rises on several tallies, but once again, it is denied a moment in the spotlight by its predecessor.
Ella Langley Blocks Herself from a New No. 1 – Again
On this week’s Country Streaming Songs chart, Billboard‘s look at the most-played tunes of that style on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music and others throughout the United States, “Be Her” rises from No. 3 to No. 2. That is the highest that the Dandelion single has climbed on the genre-specific rundown, as it has always been stopped by “Choosin’ Texas.” That’s the case again this time around, as once more, Langley blocks herself from scoring another leader.
“Choosin’ Texas” Hits 25 Weeks at No. 1
Despite her immense popularity in the country music world, Langley has only ever scored one No. 1 on the Country Streaming Songs chart. “Choosin’ Texas” debuted on the roster in November 2025, but it wasn’t until mid-January of this year that it finally worked its way to the penthouse. Since then, “Choosin’ Texas” has spent a milestone 25 weeks (as of this period) running the show.
“Be Her” Returns to Second Place on the Streaming Chart
“Be Her” does hold the distinction of being Langley’s only track to stall in the runner-up rung on the Country Streaming Songs chart. Langley has seen a total of a dozen compositions land on the roster, eight of which have climbed into the top 10. All but one of those tunes have risen into the top five.
Ella Langley Fills Half the Top 10
On the current version of the Country Streaming Songs chart, Langley occupies half of all the spaces within the top 10. “Choosin’ Texas” holds at No. 1, “Be Her” rises once more to No. 2, and the aforementioned “I Can’t Love You Anymore” is steady at No. 4, just one space beneath its all-time peak.
Langley’s own “Loving Life Again” and “Weren’t for the Wind” settle at Nos. 7 and 9, respectively. Looking outside the top 10, Langley scores another two smashes. “You Look Like You Love Me,” one of her two collaborations with Riley Green, is a non-mover at No. 20. The singer-songwriter closes out the rundown with “Dandelion,” which drops to No. 25, last place.
“Be Her” Keeps Growing on the Billboard Charts
Months into its run on the Billboard charts, “Be Her” is performing spectacularly well. The track hits a new high on the Billboard Global 200, pushing from No. 37 to No. 27. It simultaneously debuts on the Adult Contemporary ranking, one of Billboard‘s three pop radio charts. On that list, “Be Her” opens at No. 24, granting Langley only her second appearance.
“Be Her” also rises on several other rosters, and it currently appears at No. 3 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and Streaming Songs tallies – just one space beneath where it has peaked in the past behind the unbeatable “Choosin’ Texas.”
