Tom Kim shot a final round 64 to win the 2026 Genesis Scottish Open at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland. Kim’s 6-under final round elevated him over Min Woo Lee, who took solo second. The win is Kim’s fourth PGA Tour win and his first since 2023.

Kim, the 24-year old star from South Korea, started the final day trailing leaders Matt Fitzpatrick and Michael Thorbjornsen after the third round concluded early Sunday morning, delayed from Saturday night because of fog. However, he quickly took off making three birdies through his first seven holes to take the lead. After making birdies on the par-4 tenth and the par-5 twelfth hole, Kim jumped out to a comfortable three-shot lead. Min Woo Lee, chasing Kim, briefly cut Kim’s lead to one but Kim again made a birdie on the par-4 sixteenth hole, extending his lead to two. Kim’s bogey-free final round of 64 was enough for him to cruise to victory.

Rory McIlroy, also in the field this week, finished in a tie for seventh with Michael Thorbjornsen. McIlroy fired a final round 64, but it wasn’t enough to catch Tom Kim.

Kim’s win ends a winless drought that dates back to 2023, Kim’s last PGA Tour victory at the Shriner’s Children’s Open. Carried this week by elite iron play and short game, it is Kim’s highest profile win and against the strongest field of his career. He now looks to carry this momentum to The Open Championship, held next week at Royal Birkdale in England.

Scottie Scheffler, the number-one ranked player in the world, missed the cut on Friday after shooting a 2-over 72 in the second round. Scheffler’s streak was at 78 consecutive made-cuts, which came to an end after ending up on the wrong side of the cut-line by two strokes. It ends the longest active made-cut streak among active players.

The players now will turn their attention to the fourth major championship of 2026, The Open Championship set to be hosted at Royal Birkdale in England.
