The merger between Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros. Discovery suffered a setback—a federal judge put a temporary pause on the $110 billion acquisition just one week after twelve states sued Paramount over the deal, arguing it was unlawful and would “create a media behemoth” that would damage both audiences and the industry in general.
