Congressman Tom Barrett (R-MI) flipped Michigan’s 7th congressional from blue to red in 2024, and Democrats are looking to flip it back in November. William Lawrence, the progressive co-founder of the Sunrise Movement, won the Democratic primary earlier in August after beating more moderate candidates, and will go head-to-head against Barrett in November.
