Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” has become the rare country smash that appeals to seemingly the entire world and not just Americans. Country music is not nearly as popular in other parts of the globe as it is in the United States, but “Choosin’ Texas” has broken the mold and found a sizable audience in the United Kingdom.

The track is so successful that several follow-up tunes by Langley have become hits in their own right, and she is now an in-demand collaborator for some of the hottest names in the country genre. This week in the U.K., Langley debuts two different tracks on separate rosters and sees multiple songs climb to new highs.

Ella Langley Debuts a New Hit With Koe Wetzel

“Jaded,” Langley’s collaboration with Koe Wetzel, debuts on two sales-focused charts in the U.K. this time around. The duet opens at No. 71 on the Official Singles Downloads ranking and No. 75 on the Official Singles Sales list. The two tallies are nearly the same, though the former focuses specifically on digital purchases, while the latter includes a broader range of purchases, such as those on vinyl and CD.

Ella Langley Scores Her Seventh Sales Hit on Two Charts

“Jaded” becomes Langley’s seventh career hit on both the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads rosters as it launches. It also appears to mark Wetzel’s first appearance on the former.

On the Official Singles Sales chart, “Jaded” ranks as one of Langley’s lower-peaking entries. Only “Dandelion,” which spent one week at No. 83, and “Bottom of Your Boots,” which reached No. 76, have stalled in lower rungs.

The story is similar on the Official Singles Downloads tally. “Jaded” ties “Bottom of Your Boots” as Langley’s second-lowest-peaking hit, while “Dandelion” sits beneath them, after debuting at No. 76 and disappearing immediately.

Ella Langley Scores a New Streaming Smash

At the same time that her latest collaboration arrives, Langley’s own “Be Her” debuts at No. 77 on the Official Streaming chart. The roster ranks the most-streamed songs throughout the U.K.

“Be Her” becomes just Langley’s second career hit on the tally. “Choosin’ Texas” arrived nearly half a year ago and has since climbed all the way to No. 5.

Ella Langley’s “Be Her” Reaches a New Peak

“Be Her” also climbs significantly on the Official Singles chart, the main ranking of the most-consumed songs in the U.K. The single jumps from No. 42 to No. 28. That position marks a new peak for the track.

Another Ella Langley Track Also Reaches a New High

“Weren’t for the Wind” is also on the rise on the Official Singles ranking, the most competitive roster of them all for songs in the U.K. The track is years old, but it has gained ground and found a new audience in the wake of the success of “Choosin’ Texas.”

A little more than a month into its run on the tally, “Weren’t for the Wind” steps up six spaces to No. 81. That marks a new high for the tune, though it remains the lowest-peaking of the six songs Langley has placed on the Official Singles chart thus far.

Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” Remains Her Biggest Hit

“Choosin’ Texas” continues to appear on four U.K. charts this week and remains Langley’s strongest performer by a wide margin. The smash rises to No. 3 on the Official Singles chart, returning to its previously-established high point. It also climbs to No. 5 on the Official Streaming ranking, likewise matching its all-time high.

“Choosin’ Texas” moves backward a little bit on both sales-focused lists, but it remains inside the top 10 on the two of them. The catchy cut slips to No. 6 on the Official Singles Downloads roster and No. 7 on the Official Singles Sales tally.
