Shasta Groene was eight years old when, in May 2005, she and her brother Dylan were kidnapped by serial killer Joseph Edward Duncan III after he killed her mother, her mother’s boyfriend, and her older brother Slade. Gregg Olsen, author of “Out of the Woods: A Girl, a Killer, and a Lifelong Struggle to Find the Way Home,” joined “Forbes True Crime” to discuss Shasta’s story that spans her whole life – before, during and after she was taken.
