A little more than a week ago, Ariana Grande released her eighth album Petal, and just a few days later, she noted in the press that she will be taking some time away from the spotlight following the conclusion of her current concert tour. That step back means she has removed herself from several media projects, but she’ll likely continue to promote her latest set with, perhaps, multiple additional singles.
In a matter of only days, Petal will almost certainly become Grande’s latest No. 1 on the Billboard 200 when the most important albums ranking in the United States refreshes. Before that happens, Grande earns a milestone top 10 hit with her current radio favorite, which reaches new peaks on multiple tallies simultaneously.

“Hate That I Made You Love Me” lifts one spot from No. 11 to No. 10 on the Radio Songs chart. The ranking details the tracks that reach the largest audiences via radio stations of all formats throughout the U.S.
The slight advance brings Grande into the highest tier on the competitive tally for the twentieth time. “Hate That I Made You Love Me” is, for the moment, her only tune to peak at exactly No. 10 on the Radio Songs tally, though it may continue to climb in the coming weeks.

Just two of Grande’s 20 top 10 hits on the Radio Songs ranking have conquered the roster, and coincidentally, both spent two frames in charge. Grande earned her first No. 1 with “7 Rings,” which dominated in April 2019. She later returned to the peak alongside The Weeknd with “Die for You,” which was remixed after going viral to include her vocals and reached first place in February 2023.
Ariana Grande Reaches the Top 10 on Another Chart
“Hate That I Made You Love Me” finds its way into the top 10 on two rosters for the first time this week. In addition to its breakthrough on the Radio Songs tally, the single improves from No. 12 to No. 8 on the Adult Pop Airplay ranking.
The latter is one of three Billboard lists that focus specifically on pop radio. “Hate That I Made You Love Me” becomes Grande’s eleventh top 10 on the Adult Pop Airplay roster as it improves its standing.

“Hate That I Made You Love Me” establishes new peaks on three radio rankings in America at the same time. Along with its advances on the Radio Songs and Adult Pop Airplay lists, the single also improves on the Pop Airplay roster.
On the most competitive of Billboard’s three pop-only rundowns, which looks solely at top 40 stations, “Hate That I Made You Love Me” lifts one space to No. 7. At the same time, it reenters the Adult Contemporary roster – the third of three pop tallies – at No. 29 after previously climbing as high as No. 14.
Ariana Grande Charts Five Hits
“Hate That I Made You Love Me” is one of five Grande hits present on the Billboard charts this week, but it is the only one that appears on rankings focused on activity in America. “Save Your Tears” and “Die for You” – both with The Weeknd – as well as “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” and “Into You,” all appear on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Every one of those older singles rises on both worldwide rankings this period.
