Just like BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SEOUL, BTS is launching The City in Las Vegas and Busan during their stops in May and June.

Like the previous THE CITY series from HYBE, it promises to create innovative experiences for fans. In the press release, THE CITY projects “promise a next-level cultural experience.”

The official titles will be BTS THE CITY ARIRANG LAS VEGAS and BTS THE CITY ARIRANG BUSAN or THE CITY LAS VEGAS and THE CITY BUSAN, respectively.

From May 20 to May 31, THE CITY LAS VEGAS will run in Las Vegas, Nevada and will be on an even larger scale than the previous 2022 event. Landmarks across Las Vegas will be activated, and The Strip and digital marquees illuminated in the album’s signature red theme and welcome messages.‘THE CITY LAS VEGAS’ will also include themed hotel experiences, food and beverage offerings, and exclusive after-party events.

From June 5 to June 21, THE CITY BUSAN is set to showcase a range of immersive experiences that combine the music and story of BTS’s fifth studio album ARIRANG with each city’s iconic Busan landmarks. They’re also set to offer a variety of entertainment programs

Detailed schedules and programming will be announced at a later date via BTS’ official channel on the global fan platform Weverse.

Just like THE CITY SEOUL, many of the city’s landmarks were used to express BTS’s charm and attachment to their album, ARIRANG. In the Jongno district, KEEP SWIMMING signs and art displays were shown along the Cheonggyecheon stream, along with light fixtures at night. The Yongsan train station featured a KEEP SWIMMING artwork along the steps of the station.

The announcement comes alongside BTS’s short documentary series, KEEP SWIMMING with BTS, based on their lead single, “SWIM,” which highlights accomplished Koreans who persevered through so much – they just “kept swimming.”

The series, which began on April 7, featured a diverse range of individuals who never gave up, reflecting on their motivations to “Keep Swimming,” including cinema auteur Park Chan-wook, fashion designer Nora Noh, Olympic gold medalist snowboarder Choi Gaon, and Venerable Sunjae, and more set to be revealed.

With the sold-out Las Vegas shows they will play for four nights, BTS THE CITY is expected to do well. Their last four-day concert, which included THE CITY LAS VEGAS, generated an estimated $160 million in economic impact for the city during their PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LAS VEGAS shows.

Through their concerts and BTS THE CITY events, BTS is set to further boost the economy. The 82 shows across 34+ cities are expected to generate over $1 billion in revenue, with some estimates reaching up to $2 billion.
