BIGHIT MUSIC has revealed that CORTIS member Keonho recently went to the hospital after he suffered a fall that resulted in the fracture of both his little fingers. Due to this injury, he will need to wear casts and braces to recover, which will limit the movement of both arms. This will not affect the 17-year-old artist’s participation in any of the promotions or the concert tour schedule. He will be making adjustments at the advice of the medical team to prioritize his health and recovery.

According to their statement, posted on Weverse yesterday, during the 2026 CORTIS TOUR IN INCHEON concerts on July 18 and 19, “KEONHO will perform without choreography in order to minimize arm movement.”

As for the other upcoming festivals and other scheduled engagements, which include their Chicago House of Blues performance on July 31, Lollapalooza show on August 1, and their North American leg of the World Tour, the medical team will continue to monitor Keonho and adjust his participation accordingly “to avoid placing undue strain on his injuries.”

Shortly after the announcement, Keonho took to Weverse to address his fans, known as COER, on his current condition. He apologized to the fans for causing them concern over his health and promised to be more responsible and “work hard” on his treatment so he could be healthy as soon as possible.

He states, “The [upcoming] tour ‘Put Your Phone Down’ is my first tour as a CORTIS, so I really wanted to show you the five of us. I really wanted to participate. I can’t participate in the choreography with my friends, but I’ll try to show you a great performance as much as I can. Thank you so much to the COER who always supports us in any situation.”

In June, the group announced the North American leg of their 2026 CORTIS Tour: Put Your Phone Down! World Tour, which would begin after their Lollapalooza debut. With the one-year anniversary of their debut approaching, CORTIS – members Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho – have become breakout stars since their debut album, COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, hit No. 15 on the Billboard 200. The EP sold over 436,000 copies in its first week – the highest initial sales for a 2026 rookie group and the fourth-highest in K-pop history. Their recent EP, GREENGREEN, debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, up 12 spots from their debut mini-album.
