A little more than a month ago, Dua Lipa released her second live album, titled Dua Lipa — Live From Mexico. Since delivering her third studio LP Radical Optimism in 2024, the Grammy winner has dropped a pair of live recordings, which have helped keep her name on the charts and her music in the ears of listeners all around the world as she preps her next era.
None of the pop superstar’s full-lengths appear on any Billboard charts this week, but multiple singles by Lipa make space on only the worldwide tallies. As one cut, which may be her most successful, rises on a pair of rankings, several other Lipa fan favorites return together and sit only a few spaces apart from one another.
Dua Lipa Returns With Two Singles
Lipa sees two singles break back onto the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. this week. The tally was introduced more than half a decade ago alongside the Billboard Global 200, and the rankings focus on worldwide consumption, not just plays on streaming platforms and sales of songs in the United States. The Billboard Global 200 does factor in consumption that takes place on American shores, while the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., as its name states, excludes all listening habits from the U.S.
This time around, a pair of tracks by Lipa bound back onto the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. The higher-ranking of the two is “No Lie,” her collaboration with Sean Paul. That team-up is back at No. 192. “Training Season,” the second official single taken from Radical Optimism, narrowly manages to find space on the roster as it settles at No. 200 – in last place – on the rundown.
“Levitating” Climbs Worldwide
Lipa fills a trio of spaces on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. at the moment thanks to her comebacks. “Levitating” dances more than 20 spaces, ascending from No. 145 to No. 123. That cut, one of many featured on her Grammy-winning effort Future Nostalgia, pushes nine spaces to No. 130 on the Billboard Global 200.
“Levitating” Remains Dua Lipa’s Biggest Global Chart Hit
Among her three hits that are present on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. at the moment, “Levitating” is both Lipa’s longest-running success and her highest-rising. “Levitating” topped out at No. 3. It still stands as her second-highest-rising win, tied for that honor with “Dance the Night” and trailing only “Cold Heart (Pnau Remix),” her inventive and insanely catchy collaboration with Elton John.
That latter track missed out on ruling the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. by just one space. “Training Season” stopped climbing at No. 4, while “No Lie” has only ever lifted as high as No. 113.
Only two cuts by Lipa – “Hallucinate” and “New Rules” – have peaked in less impressive positions on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Those songs soared to Nos. 159 and 191, respectively.
“Levitating” Passed 200 Weeks on the Charts Long Ago
“Levitating” remains Lipa’s only tune to crack 200 weeks on either worldwide roster, and it easily stands out as her longest-charting smash. Compared to the other two tracks by the pop and dance singer-songwriter, “Levitating” wins by a mile in terms of longevity.
“No Lie” has spent 27 frames on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., while “Training Season” has appeared 36 times. “Levitating” has spent more than four and a half times as many weeks on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. as “No Lie” and “Training Season” combined.
