In America, Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” has ranked as one of the biggest songs – if not the No. 1 hit – throughout much of 2026. In fact, this week, the cut returns to the summit on the Billboard Hot 100 for its twelfth nonconsecutive frame.

“Choosin’ Texas” has not performed nearly as well across the Atlantic in the United Kingdom, though that’s not surprising, as country music is not as popular there as it is in the U.S. “Choosin’ Texas” did recently become a rare smash from the genre to break into the top 10 on the Official Singles chart, and this week, Langley nearly dominates one sales tally with what may go down as one of the most successful country compositions of the decade.

Ella Langley Nearly Hits No. 1 With “Choosin’ Texas”

“Choosin’ Texas” climbs one space on the Official Singles Downloads chart, inching from No. 3 to No. 2. 31 weeks into its time on the ranking of the top-selling tracks of any style via platforms like Amazon, iTunes and others, “Choosin’ Texas” nearly leads the charge. While it misses out on ruling, “Choosin’ Texas” does establish a new high point as it ascends.

Only “Movin’ to the Sun,” a collaboration between Hugel, Imael Angel and Ultra Naté, blocks it from the penthouse. That dance hit is comfortable at No. 1 on the Official Singles Downloads ranking for its second period.

Ella Langley Reaches a New Career High

As “Choosin’ Texas” reaches its new peak position, so too does Langley on the Official Singles Downloads chart. “Choosin’ Texas” remains her only top 10 hit, out of half a dozen appearances. Nearly all of the country singer-songwriter’s compositions that have become bestsellers on download platforms in the U.K. are connected to Dandelion, her recently-released sophomore album, which was fronted by “Choosin’ Texas.” Only “You Look Like You Love Me,” one of multiple collaborations with fellow country artist Riley Green, is not present on that set’s track list.

Here are all of Ella Langley’s hits on the Official Singles Downloads chart.

  • “Be Her”
  • “Bottom of Your Boots”
  • “Choosin’ Texas”
  • “Dandelion”
  • “I Can’t Love You Anymore” with Morgan Wallen
  • “You Look Like You Love Me” with Riley Green

“Choosin’ Texas” Climbs on the Streaming Chart

At the same time that it nearly leads the downloads tally, “Choosin’ Texas” also reaches a never-before-seen height on the Official Streaming chart. Langley’s career-defining tune pushes two spaces to No. 12, and in the coming weeks, it might find its way into the top 10. “Choosin’ Texas” remains Langley’s only song to land on the Official Streaming rundown, and thus she pushes to a new career high at the same time as the single.

“Choosin’ Texas” Holds Within the Top 10

“Choosin’ Texas” lives on four rankings in the U.K. this week. It surges to new peak positions on two aforementioned rosters and holds at its all-time high on the Official Singles chart, the main songs list in the U.K. Last time around, “Choosin’ Texas” leapt into the top 10 for the first time, earning Langley her first such win in the U.K. This period, “Choosin’ Texas” holds in ninth place as it celebrates half a year on the 100-space ranking.

It is only on the Official Singles Sales chart where “Choosin’ Texas” not only fails to push higher than ever. In fact, the song actually backtracks. Last frame, “Choosin’ Texas” sat at No. 4, the loftiest slot it has ever reached. This period, it dips only a few spaces to No. 7.

Ella Langley Charts Two Songs in the U.K.

“Choosin’ Texas” is one of two songs by Langley that appear on the U.K. charts at the moment. “Be Her,” the second promotional cut from Dandelion, dips to No. 47 on the Official Singles tally, while simultaneously finding its way back to the Official Singles Downloads list at No. 94.
