Singer-songwriter Ella Langley rose all the way to the top spot on Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart for the first time in 2024 alongside Riley Green. The two pushed “You Look Like You Love Me” to No. 1 in December of that year. 12 months later, the pair conquered the hugely competitive roster again with “Don’t Mind If I Do,” and she proved herself to be a reliable hitmaker.

While she was already a hitmaker in the country space, Langley’s career completely changed in late 2025 when she unleashed the blockbuster single “Choosin’ Texas.” That track not only went on to lead the Country Airplay roster, but also the Billboard Hot 100, where it spent 10 weeks running the show.

“Choosin’ Texas” made Langley so popular that anything she released afterward was bound to become a country success story, and follow-up Dandelion single “Be Her” likewise topped multiple country charts, including the Country Airplay rundown. As “Be Her” earns another stay at the summit of that radio list, Langley pulls out of a tie with another one of country’s favorite stars, and once again proves that in 2026, she is unbeatable.

Ella Langley Holds at No. 1 With “Be Her”

Langley’s “Be Her” is comfortable at No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart this time around. The single reached the highest space in early June and has now ruled for three consecutive frames.

Ella Langley Now Claims Two Three-Week Leaders

“Be Her” is Langley’s second song to rack up three weeks atop the Country Airplay chart in 2026. “Choosin’ Texas,” which launched on the list in November 2025, rose to the throne in February and likewise held on for a trio of periods, which means that the singer-songwriter has now commanded the roster for half a dozen weeks this year.

Ella Langley Passes Luke Combs

As Langley reaches six weeks at No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart in 2026, she becomes the artist with the most time spent at the summit so far this year. Only a few days ago, when “Be Her” doubled its turns in the highest rung, Langley matched Luke Combs for the most frames running that roster. His recent champion “Sleepless in a Hotel Room” climbed to the highest space in mid-April and dominated the ranking for five consecutive weeks. That makes “Sleepless in a Hotel Room” the longest-running No. 1 so far this year, though Combs now comes in second place when looking at the ranking of the most successful artists in terms of time spent in the loftiest rung.

Parmalee, Morgan Wallen and Jelly Roll Have Ruled for Multiple Weeks

Another five acts have appeared at No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart more than once this year. Hardy pushed “Favorite Country Song” to No. 1 in January, and just like both “Choosin’ Texas” and “Be Her,” it spent three weeks leading the way. Parmalee kicked off 2026 with two weeks in a row in the highest spot with “Cowgirl.” Morgan Wallen’s “20 Cigarettes” accomplished the same feat, only to be replaced by “Choosin’ Texas.” Shaboozey and Jelly Roll waited quite a long time before their collaboration “Amen” shot to No. 1, and that team-up managed a pair of frames in the penthouse shortly after “Choosin’ Texas” ended its reign.

“Be Her” Ties “Choosin’ Texas”

“Be Her” is now tied as Langley’s song with the most weeks at No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart. Both of her most recent leaders, including “Choosin’ Texas,” have topped the tally for three periods, while a pair of duets with Riley Green, “You Look Like You Love Me” and “Don’t Mind If I Do,” earned just one stay at the summit in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
