Throughout 2026, “Choosin’ Texas” by Ella Langley has ranked as the biggest hit in America and a top performer around the world. It took months for the track to catch on in the United Kingdom, as the nation is not as attuned to country music as the United States, but Langley is quickly becoming something of a star there as well.
Her growing profile is largely due to “Choosin’ Texas.” This frame, the smash rises on every ranking on which it appears in the U.K. The country cut sits inside the top 10 on all four rosters and even brings the singer-songwriter to a new all-time high on one list.
Ella Langley Returns to the Streaming Chart’s Top 10
“Choosin’ Texas” bolts from No. 12 to No. 8 on this week’s edition of the Official Streaming chart. The tally looks only at the songs that rack up the most streams throughout the U.K.
No. 8 marks a new peak for “Choosin’ Texas” on the tally. It is the only Langley track that has ever appeared on the roster, so every time the single improves its loftiest placement, she establishes a new career best as well.
“Choosin’ Texas” has now spent 22 weeks on the Official Streaming chart. It broke into the top 10 for the first time two frames ago, when it climbed from No. 12 to No. 10. The hit then fell back to No. 12 before rebounding and rising higher than ever.
Ella Langley Nearly Matches Her Main Chart Peak
Langley also nearly establishes another new career high on a different rundown: the Official Singles chart. The country’s main songs ranking is built using both sales and streaming activity, and it’s hugely competitive – and not often a friendly place for country music.

“Choosin’ Texas” gallops from No. 8 to No. 5 this time around. The song already reached that position two weeks ago, during what turned out to be one of its most impressive periods across several rosters.
Ella Langley Climbs on Two Sales Charts
“Choosin’ Texas” lands in the same position on both of the U.K.’s sales rankings this week, which is not an uncommon sight. The cut rises to fifth place on the Official Singles Sales and Official Singles Downloads charts simultaneously. That’s not a new high point, but that fact that the song, which was released in the fall of 2025, is still a top five seller in the U.K. is impressive.
Ella Langley Fills the Maximum Three Spaces
Langley occupies three positions on the Official Singles chart this week, which is the maximum number permitted for each artist in a lead role during any given frame.
As “Choosin’ Texas” returns to No. 5, “Be Her” moves in the opposite direction. That single – which followed “Choosin’ Texas” before the album Dandelion arrived – falls from No. 57 to No. 64. It previously came close to entering the top 40, but stalled at No. 43.
“Weren’t for the Wind” holds at its all-time high of No. 90. That may be a relatively low position, but the song was released as a single years ago and only recently became a hit in the U.K., thanks to the immense popularity of “Choosin’ Texas.”
Ella Langley Returns to No. 1 With Dandelion
Dandelion, the album that produced “Choosin’ Texas” and “Be Her,” also continues to perform well. The full-length rises from No. 2 to No. 1 on the Official Country Artists Albums chart, returning to the summit on the genre-focused tally.

The project appears on five additional rankings, though its performance across them is mixed. Dandelion has now spent 15 weeks on all six rankings. The fact that a set from a country artist who was largely unknown in the U.K. until earlier this year has maintained such a longstanding chart presence speaks to Langley’s rising profile and the incredible popularity of the project’s biggest single.
