ENHYPEN are coming back. According to Korean entertainment news agency Soompi, their label Belift Lab confirmed to Dispatch that the group will make their first comeback as a six-member group in August this year. “ENHYPEN is preparing with the goal of making a comeback in August. We will share detailed information through an official notice,” the agency stated.

The mini album is now confirmed to be called The Sin: Bliss, has six tracks and will be out August 21, per presave info on Spotify.

What ENHYPEN’s August Comeback Means

The Sin: Bliss will mark ENHYPEN’s first comeback in only seven months, following The Sin: Vanish in January. More significantly, it will be their first release as a group of six (Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki) instead of the original seven, following Heeseung’s departure from the group in March. The group is currently mid-tour on the Blood Saga World Tour, which kicked off May 1 and runs through the rest of the year and into 2027.

Jake gave ENGENEs an early signal of what to expect in a Billboard interview shortly after the departure. “As of right now, we can’t say too much. But our next project is crazy, it’s another level. I said this at the start of the year, but 2026 is going to be a very big year for us,” he said.

What Happened With ENHYPEN And Heeseung

Heeseung’s departure announcement in March led to immediate and sustained fan backlash. In a handwritten letter posted to Weverse, Heeseung wrote that he had chosen to ‘follow the direction the company suggested’ in deciding how best to present his solo work, directly causeing widespread speculation that the departure may not have been entirely self-initiated, as well as protests outside HYBE’s Seoul and Los Angeles offices and petitions from international fan communities. My personal inbox continues to be flooded with email templates from anguished fans demanding an investigation into his exit.

Belift Lab confirmed the departure was permanent on March 16. “Heeseung will not be returning to ENHYPEN. He has a clear artistic direction he wants to pursue, and we decided to respect that,” the agency told the Korea Herald. By that time, a petition asking to reinstate his group position had received over 1 million signatures.

He has since rebranded as EVAN and is preparing new music aimed for a June release. His departure came weeks after ENHYPEN’s seventh mini album, The Sin: Vanish, debuted at No.1 on the Top Album Sales Chart and sold over two million copies in its first week.
