For well over half a decade, Fleetwood Mac’s 50 Years – Don’t Stop has been a fixture on the charts in the United Kingdom. The compilation gathers together many of the group’s most celebrated singles — and there are plenty — and it’s kept alive on several rankings not just by consistent sales, but by countless streams of classics like “Don’t Stop,” “Go Your Own Way,” “Landslide,” “Tusk,” “Gypsy,” and dozens more. That ongoing affection helps the box set earn another milestone this frame.

Fleetwood Mac’s 50 Years – Don’t Stop on the Charts

50 Years – Don’t Stop holds at No. 7 on the Official Albums chart, the all-consumption ranking of the most popular projects in the U.K. This week marks its three-hundred-and-fiftieth stay on the tally. The set is also stationary at No. 4 on the Official Album Streaming tally, where it celebrates the same landmark.

The Very Best of and Rumours

Fleetwood Mac now claims three titles that have spent at least 350 weeks on the Official Albums chart. Another compilation, The Very Best Of, which arrived in 2002, is only 10 weeks ahead of 50 Years – Don’t Stop. One title, however, is in a category of its own.

Rumours, widely regarded not just as the band’s masterpiece, but as one of the most successful albums in history, is easily Fleetwood Mac’s longest-charting title. It’s now spent more than 1,100 weeks on the Official Albums chart, making it one of the longest-running albums ever in the U.K.

Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours Extends Its Legendary Run

At the moment, 50 Years – Don’t Stop is found only on the main albums ranking and the streaming tally, while Rumours is present on half a dozen U.K.-based lists. The bestseller climbs on a trio of sales-focused charts and remains inside the top 20 on three others — including streaming, vinyl sales, and the main albums list, where it slips to No. 17.

Greatest Hits Returns to the Charts

Three Fleetwood Mac albums — two of them compilations — appear on the charts in the U.K. at the moment. Greatest Hits reenters the Official Album Downloads chart at No. 78. Listeners in the country seem to focus their streaming on 50 Years – Don’t Stop, while their buying power goes toward Greatest Hits and Rumours, which functions as something of a greatest hits collection in its own right thanks to the number of favorites on its tracklist.
