Future is back at No. 1 on many of Billboard’s albums charts this week with a new winning album. The hip-hop superstar’s latest set, The Real Me, conquers multiple rankings thanks in large part to a massive first-week streaming sum, as its 22 songs racked up more than 120 million plays on streaming platforms in only seven days.
At this point in his career, every new leader helps Future advance on some historic list, as he has collected champions at a pace few musicians have matched at any point. The Real Me brings him back to the summit of the ranking devoted exclusively to streaming activity in America, and in the process, he breaks a tie with two of the biggest stars in the music industry.
Future Debuts at No. 1 on the Streaming Albums Chart
The Real Me opens at No. 1 on this week’s Top Streaming Albums chart. The tally – which was only introduced less than half a decade ago – details the most-streamed projects in the United States.
Future has now scored four rulers on the ranking. His first three all reached the summit during 2024, when he enjoyed an especially productive stretch. In April of that year, We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You, his pair of collaborative projects with producer Metro Boomin, hit No. 1 within weeks of one another. Before 2025 rolled around, Mixtape Pluto also dominated in October. Each of Future’s four champions has thus far spent a single frame in first place.
Future Passes Taylor Swift and Drake
Before The Real Me arrived, Future was tied with Taylor Swift and Drake for the most No. 1s in the history of the Top Streaming Albums chart. All three musicians had collected a trio of leaders, but Future now moves ahead on his own.
Swift became the first artist to score three champions on the roster. She initially reached the summit in November 2023 with 1989 (Taylor’s Version). The following year, The Tortured Poets Department ruled for 11 weeks, making it the second-longest-running No. 1 in the chart’s history. Last fall, her most recent set, The Life of a Showgirl, opened in first place and remained there for a total of seven frames.

Drake is the only other act with three Top Streaming Albums leaders. He earned his first No. 1 with For All the Dogs in November 2023, then waited until March 2025 to return with Some Sexy Songs 4 U, his collaborative effort with PartyNextDoor. The Canadian superstar added to his total less than two months ago when Iceman also launched at the summit.
Future Leads a Small Group of Repeat Champions
Only four other artists have scored more than one No. 1 on the Top Streaming Albums chart. That group includes Bad Bunny, Morgan Wallen, Sabrina Carpenter and Zach Bryan.
Future has placed five titles on the ranking, and all but one have led the charge. I Never Liked You remains his only entry that failed to reach the summit, and it barely made an impact. The album debuted at No. 50 — the lowest position on the tally — in September 2024 and never climbed any higher.

We Don’t Trust You Remains Future’s Longest-Charting Set
Among Future’s five appearances on the Top Streaming Albums chart, We Don’t Trust You is far and away his longest-running success. The Boomin collaboration has earned 48 weeks somewhere on the list. None of Future’s other four entries have managed double-digit stays. In fact, We Don’t Trust You has spent more than twice as long on the roster as all of his remaining studio LPs combined.
Future Rules Four Billboard Charts This Week
The Real Me debuts on half a dozen Billboard rankings this week and opens at No. 1 on four of them. In addition to the Top Streaming Albums chart, the collection conquers the Billboard 200, Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums lists.
The project becomes Future’s twelfth leader on the Billboard 200. He has been even more dominant on the two genre-specific rosters, and The Real Me gives him a seventeenth career No. 1 on both the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts simultaneously.
