Future rules multiple Billboard charts this week, a feat he has accomplished many times throughout his career. The rapper is both incredibly prolific and immensely popular, and whenever he releases a project, it is all but certain to score a notable debut across a variety of tallies — and it often kicks off its time in first place.
That happens again this week with The Real Me. The album earns Future a historic twelfth champion on the Billboard 200 and brings him back to the summit on several genre-specific rosters. On one of the most competitive albums rankings in the country, he ties Drake, a frequent collaborator and sometimes rival, for the most No. 1 titles of all time.
Future Scores a Seventeenth R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart No. 1
The Real Me debuts at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. As the solo effort arrives, Future earns his seventeenth career leader on the list, which measures the most-consumed R&B and hip-hop albums in the United States. The tally – like all albums rosters that begin with the word “Top” – blends sales and streaming activity to show what collections Americans are listening to.
Future has now sent 21 projects to the tally. 19 of them have reached the top 10, and all but four of those climbed all the way to the summit.

Future Ties Drake’s All-Time Record
As The Real Me launches in first place, Future ties Drake for the most No. 1 projects in the history of the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Both musicians have now ruled the ranking with 17 sets.
Drake earned his seventeenth champion earlier this year with Iceman. That full-length was one of three he released at the same time, along with Habibti and Maid of Honour. The project immediately pushed him ahead in the all-time race, but his lead lasted only until Future returned.
Future and Drake even share one of their champions. Their collaborative set What a Time to Be Alive debuted at No. 1 more than a decade ago and spent one week running the show.

Future Replaces Drake at No. 1
Future does not simply tie Drake’s record this week — he replaces him at the summit. Iceman falls from No. 1 to No. 2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, marking the first time the collection has declined from the peak position. Drake’s blockbuster has now spent nine weeks on the tally, eight of them in first place.
Ye and Eminem Aren’t Far Behind
Only a few other hip-hop stars have accumulated double-digit No. 1 albums on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has earned 13 leaders. He most recently increased that sum in April, when Bully launched at the summit and remained there for two weeks. Eminem follows with 11 No. 1 albums on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Future’s Longest Reign Lasted Nearly Two Months
Almost all of Future’s champions on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart have controlled the tally for only one frame. A handful of projects stand apart, as they managed longer stays in first place.
We Don’t Trust You, his collaborative album with Metro Boomin, easily ranks as Future’s longest-running winner. The set spent eight weeks at No. 1 on top of the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums list. I Never Liked You and Mixtape Pluto both managed three periods in charge. Future Hndrxx Presents: The Wizrd racked up two turns at the summit.
Future Rules Four Billboard Charts This Week
The Real Me debuts on six Billboard rankings this week, and it reaches the top 10 on all of them. The project rules four lists as it arrives.

In addition to the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, The Real Me starts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Top Streaming Albums and Top Rap Albums rankings. The collection gives Future his twelfth Billboard 200 champion, fourth leader on Top Streaming Albums and seventeenth ruler on Top Rap Albums.
The project also opens inside the top 10 on a pair of sales lists. The Real Me debuts at No. 7 on the Vinyl Albums chart, giving Future his third top 10 on the ranking out of three career appearances. The Real Me begins its run at No. 9 on the Top Album Sales chart, as it performed significantly better on streaming sites than on download storefronts.
