Hot Wheels SDCC Exclusives Inspired By ‘KPop Demon Hunters,’ ‘Stranger Things’ And ‘Top Gun’

Exclusive: Mattel’s Hot Wheels brand is releasing collectibles inspired by KPop Demon Hunters, Stranger Things and Top Gun as exclusives for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con.

The annual pop culture convention for all things movies, TV, comics, animation, video games and toys runs Thursday to Sunday, July 23-26, at the San Diego Convention Center.

Last week, Mattel Creations revealed that the WWE Elite 3-Pack – Cyndi Lauper, Roddy Piper and Captain Lou Albano, will be available at the convention and on the company’s retail site. The trio of 6.5-inch action figures. The set depicts the newest Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee’s appearance in Piper’s Pit alongside the wrestling greats in June 1984 amid the Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Era in the WWE.

On Monday, Mattel Creations revealed that three Hot Wheels diecast vehicles are being offered at SDCC 2026, as well as on the company’s retail site. Called the Fandom in the Fast Lane collection, the vehicles merge the world of Hot Wheels with Netflix’s Best Animated Feature Oscar winner KPop Demon Hunters and the streaming platform’s blockbuster series Stranger Things, as well as Paramount Pictures’ iconic action movie Top Gun. The latter release coincides with the Tom Cruise film classic’s 40th anniversary.

All three Hot Wheels SDCC 2026 exclusives will be available at Mattel’s booth (#2945) from July 23-26 at the San Diego Convention Center. For fans who are unable to attend the convention, Mattel Creations is offering all three SDCC Hot Wheels exclusives on its retail site beginning Thursday, July 23. Quantities of the Hot Wheels KPop Demon Hunters, Stranger Things and Top Gun exclusives will be limited at both the SDCC and the Mattel Creations retail site.

The KPop Demon Hunters Hot Wheels exclusive retails for $25, while the Stranger Things exclusive is priced at $40 and the Top Gun exclusive retails for $35. More information about all three vehicles can be found on Mattel Creations’ SDCC exclusives product page.

Each Hot Wheels SDCC Exclusive Comes In Collectible Packaging

Hot Wheels’ KPop Demon Hunters SDCC exclusive brings Derpy Tiger to life in the form of a Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) with Real Riders wheels. The deco for the Derpy Tiger-inspired car captures the spirit animal’s signature blue fur, bold tiger stripes and sharp white teeth on its grille. The packaging for the KPop Demon Hunters exclusive features Derpy along with a potted plant.

Honoring the 10th anniversary of the show and its recent final season, Hot Wheels’ Stranger Things SDCC exclusive captures the memorable scene featuring Hawkins Power and Light van flip from Season 1 in its window box packaging. The 1983 Chevy Van with Real Riders wheels features “Hawkins Power and Light” deco, as well as three plastic minifigures representing Mike and Eleven (Finn Wolfhard and Millie Bobby Brown), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) riding their bikes to escape the danger.

The Hot Wheels Top Gun SDCC exclusive captures the iconic moment in the film when Maverick (Tom Cruise) and Goose (Anthony Edwards) invert their F-14 Tomcat over an enemy MiG-28. The diecast fighter jets include a stand to recreate the scene, while break-frame packaging for the exclusive features a tribute to Goose’s unforgettable cockpit photo.
