The Jonas Brothers are back on the charts in America with a brand new album. The sibling trio released Greetings from Your Hometown in early August, and this frame, the set launches on several tallies.

While the project is certainly another win for the Grammy-nominated act, Greetings from Your Hometown has not turned out to be quite the commercial success that the group is used to.

The Jonas Brothers Launch Inside the Top 10

The Jonas Brothers debut Greetings from Your Hometown at No. 6 on the Billboard 200. The band earns its eighth top 10 on the ranking of the most consumed full-lengths and EPs in the country, as Greetings from Your Hometown shifted 39,400 equivalent units between pure purchases and streaming equivalent copies, according to Luminate.

A Low the Band Hasn’t Seen in Almost Two Decades

No. 6 is a fair starting point for most musical acts, but it’s lower than the Jonas Brothers are accustomed to. In fact, the band hasn’t seen a proper full-length peak so low in almost 20 years. Only It’s About Time, the first Jonas Brothers project, stalled in an even lower slot. That title, which arrived in August 2006, only climbed to No. 91.

Five Top Fives for the Jonas Brothers

Since It’s About Time, all five albums released by the brothers have cracked the top five on the Billboard 200. Jonas Brothers, the group’s self-titled effort, reached No. 5. Follow-ups A Little Bit Longer, Lines, Vines and Trying Times, and Happiness Begins all reached No. 1. In 2023, the Jonas Brothers returned with the simply-titled The Album, which made it to No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

A Second Top 10 Vinyl for the Jonas Brothers

Greetings from Your Hometown also manages to kick off its time in sixth place on the Vinyl Albums list. The Jonas Brothers have only reached that format-specific ranking twice, as The Album opened and peaked at No. 4 a little over two years ago.

Greetings from Your Hometown is a Bestseller

The Jonas Brothers launch in an even loftier position on the Top Album Sales chart, which looks specifically at purchases on any format. Greetings from Your Hometown kicks off its time on that list at No. 3, becoming the band’s eighth placement inside the highest region.
