Lady Gaga’s The Fame, her debut full-length, has now spent 400 weeks on the U.K.’s Official Albums chart. That’s a first for the global pop superstar. Less than a month ago, Lady Gaga quietly released a new live album, Apple Music Live — Mayhem Requiem. The set was tied to a one-night-only concert she performed in Los Angeles earlier in 2026, which was filmed and released to theaters for an extremely short window only a few weeks back. As that project nearly disappears from the charts in the United Kingdom, it is the singer-songwriter’s debut full-length that not only climbs, but brings her to a longevity milestone she has never seen before.
Lady Gaga’s The Fame Celebrates 400 Weeks
As of this period, The Fame, Gaga’s debut full-length, has lived on the Official Albums chart for 400 weeks. The tally, published every week by the Official Charts Company, ranks the 100 most-consumed releases, regardless of genre or length, throughout the U.K. Sales and streams of any title help it remain or become a charting win, and for 400 periods, The Fame has ranked among the most popular musical efforts in the country.
The Fame Is Lady Gaga’s Longest-Charting Album
Unsurprisingly, The Fame is Gaga’s first title to make it to 400 weeks on the Official Albums chart. It remains the Grammy and Oscar winner’s only set to rack up triple-digit weeks on the tally. The Fame has charted for so long that it has spent just one week longer on the rundown than all of the superstar’s other 11 other hits combined.

Lady Gaga’s The Fame Remains Her Sturdiest Ruler
The Fame is counted among Gaga’s five No. 1s on the Official Albums chart, and it is her sturdiest ruler. The project that introduced Gaga to the world spent a total of seven weeks dominating the busy roster. That’s exactly as long as her other leaders – Born This Way, Artpop, Chromatica and Mayhem – combined.
The Fame Climbs on Multiple Charts
As The Fame reaches its notable milestone, the full-length climbs ever so slightly on the two U.K. tallies on which it appears. On the Official Albums chart, The Fame improves one spot to No. 63. Over on the Official Albums Streaming tally, The Fame performs even better, stepping up from No. 57 to No. 56. On the roster that focuses on the most-played collections on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music and others, specifically in the U.K., The Fame has appeared 312 times, and so far, it’s topped out at No. 27.
Mayhem Requiem Almost Disappears
Two albums by Gaga appear on the U.K. charts this week, but they do not land on the same rankings. Mayhem Requiem slips from No. 62 to No. 100 – the lowest space available – on the Official Album Downloads ranking. Mayhem Requiem launched at No. 2 only three weeks back, nearly becoming another champion for the superstar.
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars Chart Together
None of the songs featured on The Fame, including career-making singles like “Just Dance” with Colby O’Donis, “Poker Face” or several others, are present on the charts across the Atlantic. In fact, at the moment, only one tune by Gaga appears on just a single roster.
“Die With a Smile,” her Grammy-winning collaboration with Bruno Mars, backtracks from No. 45 to No. 57 on the Official Singles chart, the main list of the most popular tunes throughout the U.K. In its 84 weeks on that list, “Die With a Smile” has never managed to run the show, as it was blocked from No. 1 and instead had to settle for second place.
