Nearly 20% of the tunes that appear on this week’s Streaming Songs chart, Billboard’s ranking of the most-played cuts of any style or language on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music and others, return to the tally. Such showings are not uncommon, and they often follow weeks when one artist — or sometimes several — enjoys a huge period and debuts multiple tunes, frequently from a recently-released album.
Last time around, Ariana Grande dominated by filling a dozen spaces with music from Petal, while several other artists scored new hits as well. Most of the Grammy winner’s tracks have now disappeared, and their absence makes room for various streaming smashes to find their way back.
One of the biggest names in country music at the moment is the greatest beneficiary. Two Morgan Wallen favorites rebound, and their returns help him stand out as the most successful act on the roster this time around.
Morgan Wallen Brings Two Hits Back to the Streaming Chart
Two Wallen tracks find their way back to the Streaming Songs chart this week, and they happen to sit side-by-side. “Last Night” and “Just in Case” reenter the 50-space ranking at Nos. 43 and 44, respectively.
Both songs have proved to be major streaming wins in the past. “Last Night” has even reached No. 1, while “Just in Case” climbed as high as the runner-up rung and was forced to settle for that spot.
Morgan Wallen Is the Only Artist With Two Reentries
Eight tracks return to the Streaming Songs ranking this week, and Wallen is the only artist to see multiple cuts reappear. He is joined by Kacey Musgraves, Benson Boone, The Goo Goo Dolls, Zara Larsson and Beyoncé, as well as “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters. All of those returning favorites have enjoyed successful runs – sometimes a year or more – on the streaming-focused roster in the past, and they bound back onto the list now that Grande’s Petal takeover has largely subsided.

Morgan Wallen Fills Nearly 20% of the Chart
Wallen fills nine of the 50 spaces on this week’s Streaming Songs chart, which means that he is responsible for 18% of the entire ranking. Two of those hits, “Been By Now” and “I Can’t Love You Anymore” with Ella Langley, live not only inside the top 10, but the top five. The smashes settle at Nos. 2 and 4, respectively.

Ella Langley Claims Three of the Top Five Streaming Hits
Langley comes in second among all artists when looking at who has the most hits on the Streaming Songs roster. She fills five spaces – exactly 10% of the list.
The country superstar joins Wallen on “I Can’t Love You Anymore” at No. 4, and amazingly, she claims three of the top five spaces. “Choosin’ Texas” holds at No. 1 yet again, extending its historic run. “Be Her,” the follow-up to that blockbuster, rises to No. 5.
Langley also debuts a new streaming smash, with “Jaded,” her team-up with Koe Wetzel, opening at No. 14. Meanwhile, “Weren’t for the Wind” hits No. 19 years after its release.
Morgan Wallen More Than Doubles His Closest Competitors

Olivia Rodrigo scores the third-most wins on this week’s Streaming Songs chart with a trio of tracks present on the tally. That is only one-third of Wallen’s total. Ariana Grande, Tame Impala, Drake, Olivia Dean and Taylor Swift each fill two spaces apiece.
Morgan Wallen Also Dominates the Country Streaming List
All nine Wallen tracks that appear on the Streaming Songs chart this week are also present on the Country Streaming Songs ranking. Several of his hits currently live only on those two streaming-focused rosters, while others can be found on other Billboard tallies that are not specific to streaming consumption.
