Morgan Wallen scores three top 10 hits in America yet again this week, as a trio of his most popular recent releases live inside the highest tier on Billboard’s competitive Hot 100. All three of them are currently on the decline, pushed downward by Drake’s brand new single “What Did I Miss?,” which opens at No. 2.
Another frame with multiple smash hits helps the country singer-songwriter match some of the most successful artists in Hot 100 history for a special place in the chart annals.
10 Weeks With Three (Or More) Hot 100 Top 10s
This week marks the milestone tenth in which Wallen has claimed three top 10 hits at the same time on the Hot 100. Billboard notes that he is just the sixth musical act to rack up that many frames with at least a trio of appearances inside the region. With an even 10 to his credit, Wallen is now on the same level as both The Beatles and Kendrick Lamar, who managed the feat many decades apart from one another.
Drake Leads, Followed By 50 Cent And Justin Bieber
Drake leads all artists in this capacity, as he has landed three or more top 10 hits simultaneously on 19 occasions. He’s followed by 50 Cent with 15 such instances, and Justin Bieber, who has done so 11 times throughout his career.
“What I Want,” “Just in Case” and “I’m the Problem”
Wallen’s biggest hit in America at the moment is “What I Want,” a collaboration with Tate McRae. That tune debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100 less than two months ago and has remained inside the upper reaches of the list ever since. This frame, it dips from No. 2 to No. 3, pushed down by Drake’s latest smash. Wallen also sits at Nos. 4 and 8 with “Just in Case” and “I’m the Problem,” respectively.
Both of those cuts dip slightly this time around. Coincidentally, those two tracks stalled at No. 2, missing out on adding to Wallen’s growing collection of champions.
Morgan Wallen’s 13 Hot 100 Hits
Wallen fills a lucky 13 spots on the Hot 100 this week. That’s a huge number of spaces for any one artist to claim, and it’s something the Grammy nominee has accomplished many times before. Wallen increases his total as “Don’t We” reappears at No. 94, while all of his other 12 tunes drop from where they sat last frame.
