Since first properly launching her music career half a decade ago, Olivia Rodrigo has proved essentially unbeatable. The pop-rock superstar has now delivered three albums, and her third full-length, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, arrived a little more than a week ago.

That project debuts at No. 1 on charts all around the world, just as its predecessors, Sour and Guts, did in so many nations. In the United Kingdom, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love is an instant leader on every albums tally it reaches. In most cases, Rodrigo scores her third winner, but on one specific roster, the Grammy winner hits the top spot for the first time.

Olivia Rodrigo Scores a First With Her New Album

You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love immediately debuts at No. 1 on the Official Album Downloads chart. The list focuses entirely on the most-purchased EPs and full-lengths of any style in the U.K. via platforms like iTunes, Amazon and others. Somewhat surprisingly, Rodrigo hits the summit for the first time in her career.

Olivia Rodrigo Finally Hits the Downloads Chart’s Summit

Rodrigo has come very close to conquering the Official Album Downloads chart in the past, but her first two studio LPs missed the throne by just one space. Sour and Guts stalled at No. 2 on the downloads ranking. Another project, Live From Glastonbury (A BBC Recording), spent one week at No. 6 in December, and then slipped away.

Olivia Rodrigo Blocks Embrace from No. 1

Half a dozen releases debut inside the top 10 on this week’s Official Album Downloads chart. Rodrigo’s You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love keeps Embrace’s Avalanche from hitting the top spot as it arrives. Now That’s What I Call an 80s Summer – yet another entry in the decades-long Now That’s What I Call series – kicks off its time at No. 3. A bit further down the tally, new titles by Bebe Rexha, Yes and Keith Urban also enter the Official Album Downloads chart within the uppermost region.

Olivia Rodrigo’s Latest Leads Half a Dozen U.K. Rankings

You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love debuts on half a dozen charts in the U.K. centered entirely around album consumption. It rules each and every one of them. Rodrigo collects her third career winner on the Official Albums, Official Albums Streaming, Official Albums Sales, Official Physical Albums and Official Vinyl Albums rundowns with her latest effort.

On the first two of those tallies, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love becomes the singer-songwriter’s third top 10, while on every other roster, Rodrigo is now up to four appearances within that space.

Olivia Rodrigo Charts All Three of Her Full-Lengths

All three of Rodrigo’s studio LPs appear on the Official Album Downloads chart this week. As You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love becomes her first winner, Sour reenters the roster at No. 82. Guts, its follow-up, barely manages to find its way to the downloads-only ranking, coming in at No. 97 after not finding space only a few days ago.

Unsurprisingly, Sour is Rodrigo’s longest-charting success story on the Official Album Downloads list, as it is also her oldest release. The full-length is now up to 47 frames somewhere on the 100-space roster. Guts trails by just 10 stints on the rundown.

Olivia Rodrigo Charts a Trio of Hits Together

On the related Official Singles Downloads chart, which lists the top-selling individual tunes in the U.K. via the same platforms that power the Official Album Downloads ranking, Rodrigo also claims three appearances. New You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love single “Stupid Song” opens at No. 45. Lead single “Drop Dead” improves to No. 34 from No. 60. Meanwhile, “The Cure,” which Rodrigo pushed as the second promotional cut from her then-forthcoming LP, is also present at No. 62.

“Drop Dead” reached all the way to No. 1 on the Official Singles Downloads chart, while “The Cure” somehow never managed to climb into the top 10.
