Based on Nintendo’s hit 2007 Super Mario Galaxy video game, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie finds Mario (voice of Chris Pratt), Luigi (Charlie Day) and Princess Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy) in the Mushroom Kingdom, before Peach and (Keegan-Michael Key) suddenly rocket to outer space to find the princess’ long-lost sister, Rosalina (Brie Larson).

Hoping to aid in the mission, Mario and Luigi, along with their new friend, Yoshi (Donald Glover), follow Peach into orbit to find Bowser Jr. (Benny Safdie), who is holding Rosalina hostage. Rated PG, The Super Mario Galaxy also introduces Glen Powell to the franchise as the voice of Fox McCloud, while Jack Black reprises the voice of the villainous Bowser.
