Taylor Swift’s wedding to Travis Kelce has been one of the most talked-about topics in pop culture throughout 2026. The musical superstar and the former NFL player tied the knot at Madison Square Garden on July 3 in front of a crowd of hundreds. Media coverage around the event was intense, and whenever an artist is written about as much as Swift has been in only the past few weeks, typically they rise on charts around the world as consumption of their singles and albums grows.

In the United Kingdom, Swift enjoys one of her best weeks in recent memory as multiple albums return and one of her most recent hit songs becomes a bestseller again, thanks to all the attention she received due to one of the most high-profile celebrity weddings in years.

The Life of a Showgirl Returns to Three U.K. Charts

Swift’s two most recent studio albums return to multiple charts in the U.K. this frame, and the biggest winner is The Life of a Showgirl. Swift dropped the collection in the later months of 2025 and has been promoting it ever since with a slew of smash singles. This frame, The Life of a Showgirl bounds back onto the Official Album Downloads, Official Albums Sales, and Official Physical Albums rankings, landing at Nos. 37, 71, and 82, respectively.

The Life of a Showgirl Celebrates 40 Weeks as a Top Performer

The Life of a Showgirl has no need to find its way back to another two tallies, but it does gain ground compared to where it sat only a few days ago. The Life of a Showgirl leaps from No. 61 to No. 57 on the Official Albums chart – the most competitive ranking for albums and EPs in the U.K., which measures popularity based on both sales and streaming activity. The same title improves from No. 65 to No. 59 on the Official Albums Streaming rundown. As of this period, The Life of a Showgirl celebrates a milestone 40 weeks on both lists.

The Tortured Poets Department Returns to the Streaming Chart

Swift delivered The Tortured Poets Department less than a year and a half before The Life of a Showgirl arrived. This week, her Grammy-nominated full-length breaks back onto both the Official Albums and Official Albums Streaming charts in the same spot, at No. 96. The Tortured Poets Department has spent the same length of time on the related rosters, as it has now racked up 112 turns as both a top performer and top streamer in the U.K.

Fearless (Taylor’s Version) Climbs on the Country Chart

Only one additional full-length by Swift lives on any roster in the U.K. Fearless (Taylor’s Version), the rerecorded take on her sophomore project, steps up from No. 19 to No. 13 on the Official Country Artists Albums chart, where it has now spent 274 weeks.

“Opalite” Returns to Two Sales Rankings

Four of Swift’s recent smashes chart in the U.K. this week, and they all live on at least two rankings – but only one mounts a comeback. “Opalite,” the second promotional cut from The Life of a Showgirl, is a bestseller again in the U.K.. The cut reenters the Official Singles Downloads and Official Singles Sales tallies at Nos. 85 and 92, respectively. The same song can also be found on both the Official Streaming list and the Official Singles chart, ascending to Nos. 74 and 93, respectively.

“I Knew It, I Knew You” and “The Fate of Ophelia” Chart as Well

Both “I Knew It, I Knew You” and “The Fate of Ophelia” can also be found on the Official Singles chart alongside “Opalite.” The Official Charts Company only allows each artist to claim three rungs per week as a lead act, a rule that was instituted nearly a decade ago. “I Knew It, I Knew You” holds inside the top 10, keeping at No. 7, while “The Fate of Ophelia,” which helped introduce The Life of a Showgirl, steps up from No. 56 to No. 50. Those tunes, just like “Opalite,” can also be located on the Official Streaming, Official Singles Sales, and Official Singles Downloads tallies.

Only “Elizabeth Taylor,” the third official single from Swift’s most recent blockbuster, fails to appear on either the main songs roster or the streaming chart, though it does live inside the top 40 on both the Official Vinyl Singles and Official Physical Singles rankings. The track, named after the beloved actress, pushes to Nos. 27 and 32, respectively, on those sales lists.
