The Jewelry Brand Behind BTS’ FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Performance

From concert tours to international sporting events, some of the world’s biggest cultural stages are increasingly serving as platforms for independent designers, attracting more eyes than ever to their work. London-based jewellery house DOSIS G6C seized the opportunity to dress BTS during the halftime show earlier this week, ensuring that the estimated 1.42 billion viewers of the final around the world had the chance to see their bespoke jewelry.

From diamond whistle necklaces and soccer ball earrings, to rings and belt buckles, the British jewellery brand has confirmed that it created all jewelry worn by BTS for the globally televised performance, marking a defining moment for the independent house. “Every commission begins with understanding the identity of the artist and translating that into objects that become part of the performance,” says Chinese-born designer Beichen Guan, founder and creative director of DOSIS G6C. “We are honoured that our work became part of such an iconic global moment.”

Rather than adapting existing collections, DOSIS G6C developed entirely bespoke pieces for BTS, in collaboration with stylists, that reflected both the visual identity of the performance and the individual presence of the artists on stage. It’s not the first time the brand has worked with celebrities — DOSIS G6C has already created jewelry for FKA Twigs, Black Pink and Lady Gaga, who has acquired several pieces — but the commission represents a significant milestone for a young design house that has built a reputation for offbeat and original fine jewelry.

Founded by Guan, a Central Saint Martins graduate, DOSIS G6C does a brisk international trade online and has a flagship inside London’s historic Royal Arcade in Mayfair, one of the British capital’s most prestigious retail destinations. After training in filigree restoration at the Palace Museum in Beijing, and goldsmithing and granulation engraving at Mikimoto, she has cultivated a distinctive design language rooted in sculpture, memory and ritual. Her sterling silver, 18-karat gold and natural gemstone jewels are handcrafted in the family workshop in Guangzhou, China.

“DOSIS G6C continuously exists in tension between precision and intuition, order and emotion,”Guan explains, and rather than pursuing conventional luxury aesthetics, DOSIS G6C has developed a practice centred on storytelling through material. One bestseller, the Chessboard necklace, features a spider’s web of traditional Chinese filigree in silver and gold, accented with diamonds, as a Chinese metaphor for catching wealth.

‘Dosis’ refers to a precise amount, and each piece is named for its exact weight, referencing “the measured extraction of memory,” according to Guan. “‘Dosis’ extracts the residue left behind by memory, the sediment emotions leave after time has passed.”

As consumers increasingly seek authenticity and distinctive creative voices, independent jewellery houses are becoming ever-more attractive partners for musicians, stylists and creative directors looking to move beyond recognizable logos. Bespoke craftsmanship offers artists exclusivity that cannot be replicated, and for DOSIS G6C, the FIFA World Cup collaboration demonstrates that smaller studios can compete alongside heritage houses when originality and creative collaboration take precedence over scale.
