President Donald Trump announced multiple times this week that the United States’ fragile ceasefire with Iran was over. The announcement came in the midst of a continued escalation in attacks between the two countries. CENTCOM announced that the U.S. struck at least 170 Iranian targets this week alone in retaliation for Iranian attacks on commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Jonathan Panikoff, the director of the Atlantic Council’s Scowcroft Middle East Security Initiative, joined “Forbes Newsroom” to discuss the developments.
