It’s Week 15 of the NFL season, and if you’re still alive in your fantasy football playoffs, congratulations. Now it’s time to take that team over the finish line, and waiver wire pickups are the best way to make sure your team is ready to meet the challenge.
Whether you’re dealing with injuries at key positions or looking to round out the depth of your bench, a savvy claim this week could pay dividends through the rest of the playoffs.
Each of the following players warrants waiver-wire consideration ahead of Week 15. All players are rostered in less than half of leagues, and one sleeper is available in more than 95 percent of leagues.

C.J. Stroud (Houston Texans)
Rostered: 42%
Week 14 stats: 15-of-31, 203 pass yds, 1 pass TD, 12.6 pts
If you’re in need of a quarterback to start in Week 15, C.J. Stroud will do in a pinch. Though he only has four finishes among the top 15 fantasy quarterbacks this season, he has reliably thrown for 230-plus yards in three of the last five games he started and finished. That makes for a nice matchup against the Arizona Cardinals, who have allowed opposing quarterbacks 234.0 passing yards on average in their last three games.

Week 14 stats: 24 att, 107 rush yds, 1 rush TD, 16.7 pts
When lead Dolphins rusher De’Von Achane suffered a rib injury in the second quarter of the game against the New York Jets, Jaylen Wright stepped in to lead the Miami backfield. All Wright did was have a career day, racking up 24 carries for 107 yards and a touchdown. There’s no question Wright is the player most deserving of a waiver-wire claim for this week (and he’s almost guaranteed to be available in your league), though managers will have to monitor Achane’s injury status closely to see if he’ll suit up in Week 15.

Rostered: 42%
Week 14 stats: 3 rec, 34 rec yds, 6.4 pts
Texans wideout Jayden Higgins was the top receiver recommendation in last week’s waiver-wire advice, and he retains that spot heading into Week 15. Though he only put up 6.4 points (three receptions, 34 yards) in Week 14, he has received the lion’s share of red-zone targets among the Texans pass-catchers and has a juicy matchup with the Arizona Cardinals on deck in Week 15. Arizona has allowed the fourth-most PPR points per target to outside receivers.

Tight End
Harold Fannin Jr. (Cleveland Browns)
Rostered: 41%
Week 14 stats: 8 rec, 114 rec yds, 1 rec TD, 25.4 pts
Rookie tight end Harold Fannin Jr. has emerged as one of the Browns’ leading pass-catchers this season, coming off a monster game against the Tennessee Titans in which he led the team with eight receptions for 114 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown. He saw a whopping 12 targets. With David Njoku only catching one pass before leaving Sunday’s game with a knee injury and Cedric Tillman suffering another concussion, Fannin will be able to continue to hone his developing chemistry with fellow rookie Shedeur Sanders under center. Don’t hesitate to put in a waiver wire claim for Fannin for your TE or Flex slots in Week 15.
