On July 4, 2020, 27-year-old Natalie Jones celebrated Independence Day at a party less than two hours away from her Georgia home in the neighboring state of Alabama. Despite texting a friend that she made it back safely, she never returned home. The young mother of two was missing for more than 90 days before her car, a bright pink Chevrolet, was found in Heard County, Georgia, with her body inside.
