A new cast of islanders have landed in Fiji. Love Island USA returns to Peacock on Tuesday, June 2, where fans will meet 11 singles (and eventually, plenty of bombshells) all hoping to find love and walk away with $100,000.

The dating competition, based on the hit U.K. series of the same name, follows a new group of islanders living at a luxurious villa in Fiji. They’ll couple up during the premiere before facing challenges designed to test their bonds and the inevitable arrival of bombshells looking to shake things up.

The contestants will be guided by reality TV star Ariana Madix, who is back as host for her third consecutive season. “I’m always surprised by who ends up coupling up,” Madix told Peacock. “Sometimes I think you can feel an energy between people that maybe you don’t even see on camera, but when you’re there in person you can always kind of feel like, ‘Oooh, there’s some chemistry here.'”

After announcing the cast, the streamer confirmed that one contestant had been dismissed. Vasana Montgomery, 25, of Beaverton, Oregon, was removed after videos circulated on social media showing her using a racial slur.

The New York Times reported that the footage was not publicly available until after the cast announcement, citing a source close to production. Last year, two Season 7 contestants were also removed from the villa for using racial slurs in past videos. It’s unclear whether Vasana will appear in the premiere in any capacity, as filming typically takes place just days before each episode airs.

Who Are The Love Island USA Season 8 Contestants?

With Vasana’s departure, 11 islanders are heading into the villa. Those joining the show include a nursing assistant, a police officer, a DJ, a recent nursing school grad, a trilingual islander from Brazil and the brother of Charlie Georgiou, a former islander on Love Island USA Season 7.

This season will also star Beatriz Hatz, a professional athlete and Team USA Paralympian who was born with a rare birth defect that resulted in the amputation of her right leg. She competed at the Paralympic Games in both 2020 and 2024.

More cast members will join throughout the season as bombshells. Here’s the running list of contestants so far, including their age, hometown, occupation and Instagram handle.
